Thanks to you guys, for the first time ever, Leslie and I are finally getting our own individual phones! We've always just shared the same phone for like, the last eight years we've been together, but it's always been pretty inconvenient and/or scary when say, I go grocery shopping and Leslie's home alone. Not only that, but it'll be our first time getting a contract phone with a provider and getting actual, REAL smartphones! We've always just gotten no-contract budget phones for forever. Hell, we didn't even really get a smartphone until maybe two years ago. Going with contracts and providers always seemed too intimidating and expensive, but now, we're gonna give it a shot! We were thinking of getting Galaxy S9+'s with Verizon, since they're pretty new phones and after adding up the bills online, it shouldn't be TOO bad. What do you guys think? Let us know!

See you on Monday with more of these cute-ass characters!

I can’t wait to hear what these changes are. About the phone question, I’ve had iPhones and AT&T for about 8 years now. With two phones on the contract I pay about $180/mo. Once my newish iPhone 8+ is paid off, that will drop to about $125/mo. Make of that what you will.

Man...as someone who's owned my very own smart phone since they were first a thing, and hearing you guys talk about sharing a phone for literally years, it's amazing the things that one can take for granted. Thanks for being so awesomely transparent with how your patrons are helping to improve your lives. I honestly wish more of the creators I follow did this, it makes it feel so worth it. =)

Dude my wife always makes sure our phones are charged before either one of us leaves for work (she works during the day , I work nights.) It's was about a two years ago we decided to be on the same AT&T plan, despite the bill, the independence feels amazing. Though have ya'll looked into "budget" smartphones? Like for example I'm looking into the honor X7 ,which is compatible with AT&T? It costs about $300 straight out no added charges to the monthly bill. I know Asus has a pretty decent phone with the Verizon, which it's about 250 straight out. But, if you decide to go that route the only hiccup is that you have to order online

First of all, the next page is going to be a hell of a list isn't it? Lol secondly, I got an Galaxy S9 and I love it but I'm through the family plan with my girlfriend. Verizon is pretty good but Tmobile has treated us very well. Also, Independent is a must for artists. Even ones who work together. I think this will be great for you guys

I personally have the Note 8 and think is is the best thing ever! Having a stylus to doodle and draw whenever and wherever is awesome, and I'm not an artist! Leslie might really like to be able to draw on her phone (for practice, ideas, etc). Just a thought!

Note8 with the stylus is amazing--i love it! Especially its little pocket inside the phone itself!

Thanks for the advice! We've kinda been using a budget smartphone for a while now, which is why we wanted to upgrade to something a little nicer after all these years. I think our original smartphone was $100 total, that's how budget it was. It was pretty decent, though! Cheap bill and just enough functionality to get by, but it was slowing down in its old age.

Thanks for the kind words! I always have a tinge of worry when I post stuff like this because I don't want people to think we're wasting money or taking them for granted, so reading stuff like this is a huge relief. We really can't thank you enough for all of your support, and we want you to know we're making the most of it!

We actually had a cheap Galaxy Note tablet for a while with a stylus! But it ended up being a little too limited, so the drawing functionality ended up not being used very often. Thanks for the suggestion, though!

I wish I could be speaking for everyone, but I look at Patreon as a way of helping the artists I like make a living doing what they love. That can be anything from putting food on the table, getting new equipment (thus improving their creative output), or just simply living comfortably. It's not paying for goods to me. It's showing Support, you know? Keep doing what you do guys, and stay awesome =)
