So, our city of New Orleans just cannot handle cold weather. Due to some light icing and a piddling amount of snow, all of New Orleans water pipes exploded, causing a water boil advisory to go into affect across the city. Can't shower, can't drink it, can't wash dishes, can't even wash your hands without also using hand sanitizer. Shit sucks, but hopefully it'll clear up by tomorrow. I sure hope so, because I can't go more than 24 hours without showering, I just can't. It's amazing how this city just does not have its shit together when it comes to any sort of weather. Heavier-than-normal rains will flood streets and slight ice will destroy the water system. At least the food's good!
