New page! NSFW!

So, any of you guys residing in Chicago? Our place in Kentucky is kinda turning to shit, so we're thinking about bailing on over to Chicago. We've always wanted to live in a city, and thanks to all you amazing people, we can actually afford to do it now! Plus, Leslie's always loved Chicago ever since she visited as a teen, so we'd be achievin' two dreams with one move! If any of you have any Chicago advice, let us know!

See you on Wednesday!

Wow, didn't you guys JUST move? I'm so sorry. :( Maybe you can revisit your original idea of moving to California?

I live in Chicago! I'll tell you this, it's definitely better to aim for the suburbs of Chicago instead of trying to find places in the actual city. Orland Park/Tinley Park are a good 30 minutes at most to get to the city and then there's also trains/subways! Idk, there's a lot of stuff, I've lived here for about ~20 years. If you have any questions just ask!

We've lived here in Kentucky for about three years now, but the rent keeps getting higher and the place keeps getting dirtier and more dangerous (break-ins, gunshots, wild animals). It started off great, but it's just gotten worse over time. Our roommates will be coming with us too, and hopefully there'll be more opportunities for them in Chicago than here.

I live in Chicago (born and raised) and absolutely love it! I live in Rogers Park and think it's a great neighborhood. It feels like a small town depending where you are, but isn't far away from suburbs and downtown Chicago. Lots of cool local events going on, close to the lakefront. All in all a great neighborhood. Edgewater (just south of RP) is also a really nice area, as well as plenty of other areas throughout Chicago. I'd gladly share any information I can about Chicago and Chicagoland depending exactly what you're looking for!
