I'm only about 50 min into the reaction, but I just wanted to write a couple things down before I forget haha. Han actually wrote all the lyrics to Another Day, so I'm not surprised you love it so much! It's an amazing song. Lyrics are by Han, composed by Han and Chan, arranged by Chan. They're the only two credited on this song. TA doesn't have an m/v, but it's hands-down my favourite Stray Kids dance practice, so I highly recommend watching it! It would have to be a Patreon reaction though, because from what I've seen, it tends to get blocked on yt. I also have a soft spot for TA because it was my first Stray Kids b-side. I actually also heard Back Door first, then I picked TA next at random because it was a recommended song after Back Door. Then both of those sat on my playlist for about a week until I finally got around to checking out more. God's Menu was next, where Changbin's opening rap dragged me almost single-handedly into the fandom lol.

Sara

Hello again haha, I just finished listening and I'm back with more thoughts! Yes! The Tortoise and the Hare is the full version of the Go Live intro. It's not a song I listen to very often because it's definitely on the weirder side and not really my taste for casual listening, but I respect it so much as a song. The "Lee Know" part also makes me smile every time. The unit songs were originally performed exclusively at concerts before they eventually ended up on the album, so there is a choreo for Wow. There are fancam versions of it that people have uploaded on yt, and then there's a high quality recording from when they performed it in their Beyond Live online concert, but that's behind a paywall. I'm sorry you've have some issues with fandoms on youtube. :( That sucks. I'm glad you've generally felt comfortable with Stays though; I've noticed that our fandom skews younger and some people can be pretty intense, but from what I've seen we're generally pretty friendly in reactors' comments sections. I'm looking forward to your top 10 album video! I'm pretty new to kpop, and I only follow SKZ and Monsta X closely, so I'm interested in learning more about older groups. Thanks for taking the time to check out this monster of an album! My only IRL kpop friend doesn't like SKZ, so I really enjoy listening to your monologues and contributing in the comments. I don't often listen to a full album all at once in order, so this journey has been fun! It also helped me realize that I was seriously underrating the Levanter album, so thank you for bringing me to my senses haha. Have a good weekend!

Yay! You conquered the big behemoth of an album haha x) I was obsessed with In Life when it dropped and it became my album of the year for 2020. I have a hard time picking my favorites from it because they change all the time. (But really, SKZ drop music so often that my top 10 songs change drastically every few months lol) Anyways, you asked about the members' writing credits and about 3racha's involvement in songs so I am here to provide! 😉 A handy up-to-date spreadsheet of Stray Kids' discography and the member's writing credits, composition and arrangement credits! I had fun making this for no real reason other than my enjoyment, love for 3racha and obsession with making lists haha so you can look at it if it interests you! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1xWNv4koRPjxj-J9n9h2dee2Il4fDoFSSOIG29YFIPzA/edit P.S. it makes me a bit sad to know that other fandoms are acting like that on youtube :( I'm only a Stay and an Orbit so I don't really know about other fandoms but just know that I've got your back! Thanks for a fun reaction, Cam!

I just remembered that I actually translated the lyrics before because I relate to them so much, and usually YouTube translations tend to be a bit simplified to allow for easier reading while listening along. I hope you don’t mind if I post mine here: 피곤한 몸 씻고 나와서 또 재미없는 TV를 틀고 I wash my tired self and once again turn on the boring TV Today again the dreary news blabbers words I can’t understand What was the most important task? There was so much I wanted to do, but I’m constantly chased by time 세상에 참 많은 곳이 있는데 There are so many places in the world and yet Not one space for me to rest my mind and let out a deep breathe My eyes don’t close just because I lay down and stretch my legs Even if I try to shut my eyes I sleep another dreamless sleep And I wake up with a sharp intake of breathe and momentary haziness 의미 없는 하루 그 끝엔 다시 반복 yeah A meaningless day. At it’s end it repeats Nerves on edge, words like daggers, I’m sick of all of it I wonder if even one person noticed when I slipped into the dark room When today I barely made it through another hard day How many times did I laugh, and were those laughs even sincere? The image of me deep in thought is funny So many worries for such a young child. Just do your job properly I hate that I only know how to laugh it off Without understanding the emptiness in my heart My eyes don’t close just because I lay down and stretch my legs Even if I try to shut my eyes I sleep another dreamless sleep And I wake up with a sharp intake of breathe and momentary haziness 의미 없는 하루 그 끝엔 다시 반복 yeah A meaningless day. At it’s end it repeats Is everyone happy except me? I’m very curious Or am I the only child who doesn’t know how to hide it yet? Everyone hides their inner selves tightly under a mask So little by little we become dulled to the word loneliness

My first post disappeared again… One too many edit? I’m not going to type it all up again, but just to summarize (especially since my other post seems very random otherwise!) Congrats on getting through the entire album in (almost) one sitting! So many good songs. The Tortoise and the Hare is, for me, another one of those “only Stray Kids…” songs. And it tickles me when “fast” is recited sloooowly by the tortoise and vice versa. The whole song is just creative af. Have you checked out the Easy dance practice yet? Worth checking out for sure, and yes, Lee Know owns it. Jisung’s adlibs in Phobia are just, ugh. Eeeveryone sounds amazing. And TA is my go-to for whenever I need a burst of energy. HIIT playlist MVP! I could go on about every song, but I won’t. At least not a second time lol. I That said, finally I can recommend one of my favorite Jisung fancams: https://youtu.be/eUEwXTY7_Do And now that you’ve listened to all of Go Live In Life, may I just say… Sunshine, Any AND Another Day peacefully coexist atop my list of favorite skz songs. Sunshine is like a warm embrace after a difficult day. But sometimes I don’t need an embrace. I just want empathy, a sympathetic ear, to be understood. That’s Another Day. I don’t love these songs because I’m Jisung-biased. I’m Jisung-biased because he writes songs like these😭😭 I have to say, the lyrics translation wasn’t great. I do hope you check out some other ones, or like you said, translate it yourself. I’m more and more curious about just how good your Korean is, by the way. Either you’re quite fluent, and/or you have waaay better English comprehension skills than I do (not far-fetched). I just know that I’m fluent in both languages and still struggled to make out those translations. Anyway, thanks for the reaction. I always enjoy listening along.

sorry if you've already been told, but the lyric video for phobia is awful and the parts aren't correctly distributed between the members тт

Honestly, I really think Another Day has jumped straight up to the top of my favourite SKZ songs list! T_T It's perfect.... they did such a great job on this and I didn't know I could love Han anymore but after listening to almost all of their albums now and you guys continuously pointing out that he single-handedly wrote a handful of my favourite songs, made me just appreciate him more. ugh. TA dance practice - noted! Will do that for YouTube tho :)) And I gotta say I, too, love Changbin's opening rap on God's Menu, I totally see how it dragged you into the fandom... you didn't really stand a chance, I'm afraid. x)

moonwalkercam

I will find those Wow videos and I will watch them!! Honestly, I didn't personally have issues with fandoms on YouTube tbh I think I worded it weird... at least, they didn't do anything to me personally but there were a lot of comebacks at the same time and the way some fandoms behaved during that time just made me think twice or thrice whether I want to post a video on that group and then interact with those people... and I'd catch myself not wanting to say my real opinion in videos because I felt like their fans would take it as an attack and stuff, so it made me not like to make videos for YouTube anymore. Because I just don't want to lie or pretend and the real fun in having a community and making these videos is the conversations that I get to have with you all. Sadly that happened with a handful of groups/fandoms at the same time, so I decided to stop posting videos there altogether - and now I'm slowly easing into it and figuring out a way to do it that will be comfortable and fun for me again. I've had my fair share of weird Stays in comments too but overall, I've had a good experience with this fandom and I think it's just SO obvious to everyone that I genuinely like and care about Stray Kids so Stays seem to appreciate that :)) And thanks a lot for the support and comments here, I really appreciate that you all take the time to write long comments and really engage with my monologues lol - still sorry about those - it just makes this whole experience more fun and the work worth it! :)) So, thank you, and I'm glad you also get some value out of this!

moonwalkercam

Woah thanks for the spreadsheet!! That's so cool :)) Oh and thanks for having my back, I truly appreciate it but as I explained in the previous comment (to Sara), they didn't do anything to me... I think I worded that wrong. x) Some fandoms just kind of made me feel like I can't say my real opinion and what I like and don't like so it wasn't fun to make videos for those groups anymore :/ but I'm trying slowly again haha ugh anyway, thanks a lot!!

moonwalkercam

wow thanks a lot, I'm sure your translation is much more accurate than I could ever do it myself and... oh my god these lyrics!! T_T

moonwalkercam

"I don’t love these songs because I’m Jisung-biased. I’m Jisung-biased because he writes songs like these" THIS. yep. I mean clearly, I didn't know they were Jisung-written before I heard them but still!! It's not like you have to scramble for reasons and justifications to bias this man... he's incredible T_T Thanks for the translation again, highly appreciate it! My Korean is really not great, it was much better while I lived there but since I don't really use it to speak to anyone anymore, I've started losing it again. I understand quite a bit tho with being exposed to all the Korean language content I consume obviously but yeah definitely not fluent. I can tell when translations are really off tho and then I make a mental note to go check it somewhere else later if I care enough at that moment. Like, I could probably grasp what a song is about without the translations but rap parts are very difficult because I can't always make out what they say when they speak so fast, so I usually look those up when I find an impressive-sounding rap part. When it comes to English, I know I have an accent but my English comprehension level is quite high, I actually studied (and graduated) English Linguistics and Literature so most of the time even if something is off, if I know the original language a little bit, I can often tell right away what the translator tried to say but sometimes it's just completely off and then... as I said, I go and check elsewhere x) it's a struggle sometimes but for most groups' music, I'm satisfied with getting the gist of the lyrics and enjoying the rest and with others - like Stray Kids - I think it's worth putting in the extra effort and really getting to the bottom of it all. Kinda motivates me to get back to ACTUALLY studying Korean again ngl

moonwalkercam

I noticed that it was quite off and I think it's the one I said I'd never watch a lyrics video from that creator again x) I went to listen to Phobia without the lyrics a few times now and then it's easier for me to tell who is singing too, so I definitely know it now but thanks a lot for letting me know, I appreciate your guys' input a lot!
