This was my favorite movie of the year so far. Don't agree that it lionizes Oppy, I think that on balance the script indicts him as a hypocrite who repeatedly prioritizes achievement over principles and morality. Strauss's rant about him towards the end was spot on, the only thing he got wrong was the conversation. Also, every scene looks beautiful in IMAX. I do agree that the dream sequence sex scene was weird, but I respect Nolan for getting a major studio to finance an r-rated summer blockbuster with a 100-day theater exclusivity window.
