I revisited Batman Begins pretty soon after seeing this. It reminded me of how smart and fun the Christopher Nolan Batman movies were. It actually made Batman Begins seem better than I remember it. I just did not get or - even like - the decisions made and world building of this new franchise. While there is a lot to love about some of the performances - though - I might argue if you didn't know The Penguin was played by Colin Farell would you really appreciate that performance as much?? I can't remember wanting a film to end so badly. It was just so damn long. That and I think this film would have really benefited having an R rating vs. the PG-13. Pretty Good if you are 13 I guess.

Saw it in IMAX last night. Loved it. A moment that sticks with me from my viewing: The sound that rips through the air in the IMAX theater when the bat mobile fires up and revs louder and LOUDER was truly an amazing moment for me. Can’t stop thinking about it.
