Hey folks,

One or more of our next few After Dark episodes will likely be a listener Mailbag episode. Have any questions/suggested topics? Let us know in the comments below.

As always, thanks for your support!

Two Questions: 1. What is the most recent movie you consider to be one of your all time favorites (top 10 ish)? I was thinking about this the other day and realized I have not really added a movie to my "all time favorite list" since my early twenties. I am now 32 and am sure I have seen some great movies in the past decade but I don't think of them as all time favorites. Tha being said I do not think or talk about movies professionally so I was wondering if it was different for you guys. 2. I know you have talked about this a bit, but I was wondering if you guys would discuss how you personally decide when to separate art from artist and when you cannot? I understand this is a delicate topic and it is different for everyone, but I really appreciate the way you guys discuss sensitive topics with thoughtfulness and compassion. I have been struggling with this question personally for a while and would be interested to hear your thoughts.

A follow-up to my original question: After seeing the premiere of the first episode of the second season of Dave, any thoughts on the general American attitude toward Korean media? I thought this episode was an incredible send-up of American media’s “embrace” of Korean cultural/artistic output, especially informed by articles published by sources such as the South China Morning Post, who may very well be accurately reporting genuine problematic issues with Korean production practices, but may not be providing us with a fully accurate portrayal of the current state of the Korean industry as it exists today. While news of abuse and mental health issues abound, at least in recent years, has that had any affect on your enjoyment and appreciation of the art that this country has produced?
