On deep fakes. I personally don't understand why they keep doing 3D-model head replacement instead of using deep fakes. I hear you that deep fakes might not create as a high resolution as a native 3D-model which you can render at whatever resolution you want. But on the other hand these effects companies must have access to much higher and pristine resolutions of actors faces than the average joe on the internet. And if they would pull all of the resources from making a 3D model (which is a lot of time and money) and put it all into doing a deep fake then they should be able to produce a result that is much better than what the average joe can produce. There is probably a reason for why they don't use it but I fail to understand what it is. Also, from what I have understood actors in hollywood are recommended by their agents these days to every 5 years or so to do a complete digital scan of their head in case they might it for de-deaging in the future.

One explanation might be the learning effect. In the long run their model might be better for whatever reason.

I think there should've been a pre-roll on the Mandalorian spoiler. The last episode wasn't THAT long ago. I had finished season 2 just a few days before this episode came out. I was also disappointed in the mild attempt at push back on Democrats are the same as Republicans. One party literally tries to subvert our democracy...just mind-boggling that someone can have that opinion right now.
