Tower Ruins [40x30] (Patreon)

As the investigators travel further into the forest they see a huge tree ahead. The tree is at least twice as tall as the tallest tree in the forest. As the investigators get closer to the tree they find out that the tree is actually growing out of the remains of an old crumbled down tower of some sort. 

When the tower ruins are examined more closely a slaughtered goat is found lying next to the tree with its bowels taken out and blood spilled all over the roots and the trunk of the huge tree. Strange looking gnarls are growing out of the tree and there can be found strange symbols carved all around the tree trunk up to the height of half a dozen yards.
