How are you doing my beautiful people?

A bit tired today. Had a fun family gathering last Saturday. Even though it was rather soft, I'm still recovering. 

Oh, the joy of getting older!

Speaking of getting older, as a kid, I was a big fan of "Knight Rider", and I do still own a cool replica of K.I.T.T. with the cycloptic eye in the front. I love that toy. Back in the start of the torrent days, I gave it a shot and rewatched season 1... it didn't hold up too well. But I still have found memories of that show.

Then I found out about Knight Rider 2000 and 2010 which I had watched as a teen, under another name, in a late light night programming slot usually filled with softcore erotic movies. You can bet I was disappointed... I had sat down for what looked like a Mad Mad ripoff with sex scene and suddenly the chic died in cyberspace and her boyfriend hook her soul to his car and it suddenly looked like a Knight Rider ripoff!?!?!?

And finally I was really excited with the 2008 reboot, but it wasn't anything special and didn't last long.

All this to say that, yesterday, I found out about another version of Knight Ryder: TEAM KNIGHT RIDER. And Holly Shit am I loving this! It is EVERYTHING I adore about 90's tv. Weird cartoonish acting, awful early CGI , unexisting fight choreography... It's a team, so there's five of them this time around all wearing cheesy blue pyjamas. Two of them are driving ugly ass motorbikes that merges somehow via lightning magic to form a single car that tool like a tank on four wheels but can't drive off-road. All the Ai have witty single-minded personalities: "Attack Beast" can't stand his driver, The Sport Car is flirty and hate children, and one of the bike only talk via movie quote. It feels like "Knight Rider" fucked with "The Thunderbirds" and gave birth to "TKR". The whole series is on youtube for 15$ and I am rarely this happy about a single purchase. 

But enough about my weird tv choices.

This week:

Last week, I've completed all the commissions that where promised to be done before my vacations ( which starts next Saturday). Since I don't want to start working on one that will only be completed after my return, I'll only plan 1 commission this week and will hopefully have time to give you guys a 2nd pictures that won't have to deal with the waiting times between each stage.

Since the finance ministry has requested that I start paying my taxes upfront, my budget for my vacations became inexistent. So I'll probably relax at home most of the time, but I do plan to go see a few friends out of town ( I still need to tell them :P I'm not really good at planning things). And sit down to figure out the SW book during the 2nd week. I figure that after a week without thinking about porn, I might be able to come back with a fresh mind. I'm also thinking about taking a quick masterclass about writing, the last one on illustrations did bear fruit after all.

The Near Future:

Once I'm back, I'll go through the rest of the commission list with one pic a week and the rest of the time should hopefully be dedicated to the new comic. In any case, I have scheduled a new collaboration with Tracy Scops in December. Comics are coming back.
