I have a question. It seems like in your most recent art you're leaving the women more clothed. I understand that it makes character identification easier, especially with pictures with large numbers of characters, but I was wondering if it was a conscious decision or if there was some other reason. I still love your work, just wondering why the apparent change.

I always kept a lot of clothes on... it is a conscious choice. It helps "telling a story." Draw a naked girl in a desert with weird rocks, and you have a picture of a naked girl with weird rocks... but put her in a Starfleet uniform and it's suddenly a lot more interesting. Add Gorn warriors in the background, and you start telling a story. That said. Some characters have more unique looks and don't need as much clothing than others to be easily recognizable. Daphne and Velma for example only need a pair of square glasses and a headband, while "the brides", in this case, need their overly designed dress in order to be something else than just another blond, redhead or brunette.

And now I'm thinking about Tribbles as a horror trope. Probably Klingon horror. Lol

Also, there's a difference between what I'll do for a comic and what I'll do for a pinup. I can take a lot more clothes of Rey and Rose without fear, since I have many pages and dialogue boxes to tell their story. Meanwhile I have only 1 picture, usually without any text, to convey the information I need for a pinup to tell it's tale. And I almost always try to tell a story, even in the most simplistic images.
