This is really cool. I'm curious, seeing the various panels, how do you even put together and plan a piece like this?

usually I first sketch the room and than ( like the Where's Waldo pic ) roughing sketching an overall of the whole mess ( nothing precise just suggestions) and I just go for it with the linework, one characters at the time. But this time around, once I knew what the room would look like, I used references pictures to cut and pace elements I liked, using photoshop to transform and assemble the different grooping. I then did my rough sketchs and final line work over it, using the collage a reference. It helped me figure out the layout way faster than usual.
