How are you doing my beautiful people?
I had a long but productive week.

That last page took the whole week. I'm not sure what I'm doing differently than way back when, in the first issue, when I could produce 2 pages a week. But I guess I'm getting old, because i'm working as much as my body will allow me. but can only manage to make 1. Oh well...

The weekend was also quite productive. On Saturday morning (I started on 4am) I decided that it was time to reclaim the part of my house I had abandoned. I started with my workshop. I was working on 3 projects for "Learning Curves" (my short-lived youtube channel) when my fathers called to tell me about his lung cancer, 4 years ago, and not done anything in there since then, apart from small repairs on stuff, I also had the bad habit of not picking myself up afterward. It also sort of became a secondary locker, and by the end, it was filled with random stuff, none of it, in its place. You couldn't even see the floor, and I'm not even talking about the dust and spider weds everywhere. It took me 5 hours to clean the place up. My body still hurt from that one. But I am very please with the result and can't wait to make stuff in my free time.

I had 3 projects in the work: Duke Fleed's helmet from "Grendizer" (le casque de Actarus dans "Goldorak" pour mes amis franco), He-Man's sword and the Ranger Plane from Disney's "Rescue Rangers".

Try as I might, I never managed anything good with the helmet, and I think I'll let it go for the moment. But the sword and the rescue plane where coming along quite nicely and I think I'll start with those.

I don't think I'll bring back "Learning Curves", tho. I don't need to add pressure to my life at the moment (I also hated doing the video editing). But I might use it to show off the stuff I make. We'll see.

The other room I had abandoned, is my room. 3 years ago, in a heat wave, I started sleeping on my sofa (I was also too heavy for my mat) and never went back. And over the last year with all the changes in my body, I ended up with so much clothes of different sizes I simply didn't have the space in my wardrobe anymore, so the bed became my wardrobe. Later today, I should receive a new dresser for my extra clothes, and I am planning to reclaim my room once again. It shouldn't take as much work than my workshop.

I am incredibly proud my myself for taking these step in my life.

You guys know I was in a rough place long before my dad's death. My best friend went to prison. My body was broken and fat, I was depressed. But I had started to get back on my feet right before my surgery and feel like I'm finally getting better lately.

Alright, enough abut me.

This morning I'll layout the last two pages of this issue. And should release page 21 later this week.

Only two pages left. I can barely believe it. Time for me to start planning my vacations ^^

See you guys soon!

Sounds like you're doing the right things. I'm glad it's getting better, and the decluttering is a wonderful way to feel more peaceful I wanted to ask -- do you have a backup plan in case Patreon goes full puritan? I've noticed a lot of folks move to Su bscribestar or similar recently

I do have a subscribstar https://subscribestar.adult/alxr34 I need to call my bank since Subscribstar form is way too vague and I still haven't connected my back account to it. But everything I post here, I post over there also.

A vacation, sounds nice. Happy to hear you’re persevering through it all. Reminds me that there’s hope for everyone. Only two more pages. What’s next? A well-earned break? Some personal ideas? Maybe… ah, but I can’t read your mind. I look forward to hearing whatever you have in mind. Best wishes.

I'll start with a 2 weeks break ^^ And than, we'll see... It not as if I plan stuff too long in advance. I do have aa few idea worth exploring: one of those big pictures (like the X-Men pool party) but regarding "Dr Who"... or the Saturday morning cartoon carwash I imagined a long time ago.
