On the Future of NSO Game Club + Patreon Request Month! (Patreon)

Hey everyone, Derrick here! By now many of you know that the NSO Game Club is one of my favorite projects on GVG and has given me a new appreciation for Nintendo's service. But it's also true that the numbers just aren't there on YouTube. I've tried to hold out and hope that it would find a larger audience, but it’s just not happening. However, I'm not killing the show. We're just gonna go in a new direction. It’s going to become a Patreon exclusive perk much like the W.I.N. though I may try to post it on podcast services in the future.

Now this change isn’t going to come right away. I figured I’d wait until the new year to make it official and make something of a celebration out of it. So for the entire month of January, it will be our first Patreon Request Month! And that means everyone who’s a Patron can vote on a game for the panels to play that hasn’t already been selected. Each request will be individual so if 24 of you choose Link’s Awakening then Link’s Awakening has 24 chances to be chosen!

That said, voting and the actual episodes will only be available to all Patrons in January. The Live Audience Tier and above will still be the only ones to watch the show being recorded live. And once February begins, Game Club itself will be a Live Audience Tier+ perk until the next Patreon Request Month. So be sure to respond to this post with your votes as it will be open until the first selection of February. Thanks as always for your support and I’m curious what this Patron Wheel has in store!
