I've been quietly working on this in the background but Evil Clowns is getting a reboot and the prototype is now playable!

So what does this even mean? I wasn't happy with the original Pacman style Evil Clowns, so I've reworked the concept into a Survival Horror FPS. The story will be similar to 80's teen sci-fi horror such as The Blob, Night of the Creeps and of course Killer Klowns from Outer Space.

The gameplay is a mix of action and stealth. You can take the clowns head on, or sneak past them conserving precious ammo. Here are a few of the bigger changes.

• I've totally reworked the character controller so it feels a lot smoother to play. 
• Added brand new clowns. No longer going to be using clowns from other puppet combo games.
• Flashlight and stealth system

And finally, the biggest change, Evil Clowns will no longer be a solo project, or even a Puppet Combo project. It will be the first in-house produced game on my new Torture Star Video publishing label. Puppet Combo will continue to be games I mostly develop solo. With Torture Star games I'll acting more like a producer or director (although I did create this prototype version as a proof of concept for us to build on). I'll also help with programming but Evil Clowns will mostly be designed by our new team. So who is involved? You'll find out soon! Murder House is coming next, which is still a Puppet Combo project. Followed by Stay out of the House, which is looking to be closer to a fall release.
