what johan did was incredibly messed up but so genius. Pretending to just be doing a report to justify asking questions, using the law something that would be important to a law enforcer to slowly break his mind. Bringing the drink as just like him taking it to go drinking but planning to use it later. Telling him about his daughter to make the man unsure so he will keep following him to ask him why did he say that or worried that his daughter is in danger. Stating a real messed up orphanage just in case the guy knew better, to make the kid seem like he could have been changed or he has a good reason for being terrible. Finally not stating anything at a point to get him to keep following him and leading him to the roof were he puts it all together. His guilt about the boy, his drinking problem and daughter to get the guy drunk and to fall off the roof.
