A genetically enhanced super-human, Ozzy is a result of an extensive secretive project to create a forced evolution of humans through selective breeding.  The project came about as a result of war, and many nations raced to develop a weapon to overcome the other. However, the war ended before the fruits of the project were fully realised and it was deemed inhumane, and then discontinued.

The goal of the project was to produce humans who are smarter, stronger, taller, and overall an improvement over standard humans in order to create an army of super soldiers. The problem was that a lot of these humans commonly developed life threatening health complications that made them unfit for purpose, and were either euthanized or died due to said complications. They are born slightly more developed than regular human babies, however as children they are virtually indistinguishable from regular humans.

Ozzy herself was part of the last batch to be produced, which ended up being the healthiest. While most of them ended up passing away due to their inevitable health complications, several only had minor complications. For Ozzy, her spine was unable to keep up with the rate of her body's growth and subsequent weight. This left her physically disabled.

Fortunately, cybernetic enhancements had recently become popular and she aided in the development of a strength enhancing cyber spine implant, and became the first person to receive one.
