One of our ACs went out. We had some power surges. Learned from the HVAC guy who came out, that when the compressor cuts out mid run, the high side pressure is too high to actually allow it to start. It'll try until it gets hot and thermal protection keeps it off. You gotta let it cool down and stay off for a few hours for pressures to equalize.

Would you rather: only be able to sleep for 2 hours at a time but can't fall asleep again till another 2 hours have passed. or > can sleep on command, but you will be out for no less than 24 hour hours doing so?
