The Calmputex Before the Storm?

So I have to ask, why are you the "B" team? Without you three, the "other" team wouldn't have any content...

I'm not sure how much of this you might know, so forgive me if this is more than you needed. In the video world, there are two types of footage. A-roll and B-roll. The A-roll is the Meat and Potatoes of the video. In our case, the A-roll is usually Wendell talking about a subject. It's content that can be consumed all on its own. It'll keep you from starving, but it might be a little bland. Now in order to spice up the content, we add B-roll. The B-roll is footage that goes on top of the A-roll. For us, that looks like slo-mo of a motherboard, GPU, CPU, or a case. Our graphs, website scrolls and illustrations also fall under B-roll. Those things on their own, don't really make for a compelling video. It would be like eating a spoonful of salt and pepper. It needs the Meat and Potatoes for it to make sense. So, all that is to say, we call ourselves the B-team because we put the spice in the A-team. They very much would still have content without us, but we make it better! ~Editor Autumn
