If I purchased that many 2.5" SSDs, I wouldn't live long enough to see the apocalypse. My wife would murder me. "I thought I was getting a new car?" "I bought a bunch of hard drives instead." ***murder ensues*** Do I need to actually install these into a case? I use a smaller network rack at home and I made some compromises in choosing a case. I am thinking of using some type of drive holder attached to a rack shelf making my own JBOD but on a shelf.

ive always wanted to have one of these though the prices on them in my opion is always insane. most of the times you could buy multiple used jbod shelfs instead of one of them or literally a entire storage server with drives like that 24 x 2.5 is 1035 canadian dollars

Yeah I'm always like oooh that looks pretty, then check the prices, scoff, and forget about them until next time.

You never need a case just double sided tape and sheer willpower

It's a shame that the unit you are giving away is the 3-bay, 24 slot unit. I have one free 5.25" bay. To fit that monster I'd have to remove my Blu-Ray writer and the 4 slot Athena Power unit I have 4 2.5" SSDs in. I bought it like 5 years ago when Newegg had an insane sale on them. I wish now I had bought 3 or 4 of them since my other case has 3 5.25" bays too. Oh well, I hope those who can use them win them.
