As a Patreon supporter at the $7 level(which I assume is like $5 after they take their cut), I have no problem with making videos available exclusively on Patreon/FP for just a limited amount of time and then post them to YT. After all, I am giving you money, so obviously I want you to receive money. So why would I not want you to make the half-cent-per-click or whatever YT pays now per view? Speaking of Amber, what are the chances you could start having her on the news, err, I mean show? It wouldn't even have to be every week; say, once a month. She was so great the one time she was on before she left......

As a Patreon supporter at the lowest level, which costs 65% more here (Australia), I pay so I can watch the whole show on Tuesdays. Won't bother me if the content here is exclusive or not.Once again, thankyou for doing Level1.

Thanks for the Q&A guys! To answer a few of the viewer (us/me) questions, I personally have no problem with a release of content after it's been on here or floatplane. I honestly usually watch your content after it's been fully released on YouTube, the News Show included, if for no other reason than to give the channel a little extra support, I try to do that with most channels I support. I will say that the Patreon/Floatplane QA was great as well as all the L1 Patreon Podcasts. Those two, the QA and the Podcasts are worth keeping exclusive to Patreon or Float Plane as they would draw people to join or upgrade tiers. Expansion into some side interests (things outside the wheelhouse) like the Picard watch along, the L1otR, or L1Plumbing? Are all great, but like I said above if it is released the same day or a day later to the full channel I don’t care. Teasing their early release to Patreon or Float Plane makes perfect sense though. Keep up the great work guys, all of you and the editing staff are putting out some great content.

On exclusive content, I would probably enjoy it, but I don't find it necessary at all. My two cents, there must be plenty of interesting things that do not suit the subject of the main channel. Home improvement for example, like Wendell mentioned. Kind of liked the video about plumbing a while ago! I would ot quickly search for that on YouTube, but can be really enjoyable. Plus I'd know the vibe of the video is enjoyable rather than risking it with completely random channels, that only sometimes works out.
