Krista's Garden Update, July 2022

Gardening? On *my* tech channel? It's more likely than you think. This video is just a quick informal tour around Krista's garden space, as of July 2022. Currently growing: pumpkins, corn, cucumbers, jalapenos, bell peppers, snackbelle peppers, butternut squash, potatoes, beans, grapes and blueberries. Also featured: a special cameo by local deer! (Also sorry about the audio in some places, neighbor was having a kid's softball game and it's...audible lol). If you can't use all the jalapenos, they freeze really well if you cut them up first. You can also make jalapeno jello which is amazing, especially with some cream cheese.

Lots to talk about when you have a garden. Looking forward to the woods tour and you starting your own herd of deer, perhaps?

Wow, for dutch standards your garden is huge, and nice that you have deer walking freely at your place. Goodluck with the plants, hope that they may have a nice yield ^^

I actually dehydrated a batch the other day and they did pretty well! I will try freezing them too. We're slowly running out of space in our deep freezer from all the extra stuff we've got in it haha. -K

Surprised you don't have a Gandalf hat for gardening. Have you tried making your own sauerkraut? It is dead simple and 100 times better than anything you can buy. Even store-bought cabbage works if you don't plant any. You can also make your own hot sauce if you grow some peppers.
