The loss off Mellanox ConnectX-2 support (though someone has a hacky workaround) is a shame too. It's such a cheap yet well performing 10 Gbit card and the only thing that has come close to it in terms of vMotion performance is the Intel X520. Luckily that appears to be still supported.

I'm now really interested in getting started learning about virilization more. I find in my experience, it's a bit daunting to find where to get started.
