I always thought you would go with a Threadripper build. What was the reason you went for the 3175x? I think about building the same rig. For me the main reason is AVX512 and the usage of Intel MKL, NumPy and the Renderframework OSPRay. I also like Clear Linux, but am not quite sure how much benefit I get out of this. I mean I should not neglect that this hardware has an emotional impact on me, this motherboard and the chip are as art to me, it is sophisticated to develop and manufacture hardware like this.

What is the purpose of running 2 cores maxed out in day trading workloads? I am a day trader in training and I found your channel because I am trying to build an "ultimate" setup,but the trading software companies only give me minimum specs to go off of. Any tips?
