Seems like what I would expect from Dell at least for the return. I have never had good service from them when it comes to replacement parts.

Cant tell if ending was trolling or not, wouldnt be surprised but did they really make you ship it back

Chances are you've never brought a server and had to send it back. Dell still come to your house for service on consumer products.

You say that you would not normally do content on this type of thing as it's "pedestrian". Well to many of us it's not pedestrian, we would like to see what you do as part of your day job. a cases study of a customer and fulfilling their needs. What it takes to keep the lights on. We are not all sysadmins and I'm sure many of use would interested in this type of content.
