This! This is the thing everyone has been asking for. Dell noticed all the sales of import 40/4k monitors, so they did their own. They also charged $1500. It's down to ~$900 now, so "affordable" -- but what's the value proposition? We take a look.

Got this in for a project for someone else, so we took the opportunity to do a review and test. :D

Joy of computing Part 3 is almost ready to drop; we drop it here a few days earlier as the next video will be the cougar contest wrap-up video on Saturday.

Hi guys. Just a question :-) For monitor reviews I would be interested what audio options they have available. E.g. if it has a headphone jack can that handle HDMI input sound etc. The reason is simple: I have VGA pass-through working perfectly fine on linux (W10 guest), but no solution I tried was successful in getting distortion-free audio (Ill spare you the list of things I tried for now). I don't have a stereo receiver at my desk, so native audio over HDMI is the one thing I can't try (my monitor doesn't do audio). I'll get a new monitor soon, and I really need it to be able to handle that.
