P5G3-2: Scene Test and BG (Patreon)

I expanded the background for P5G3-2. I wanted to see where Suzi would look the best in this house when she has sex.

To get technical, many 3D artists don't make their own backgrounds because creating elaborate 3D props and backgrounds is quite a time-consuming and labor-intensive endeavor. Many artists buy from talented artists who create backgrounds and props professionally. I also do the same.

But I can't use them out of the box. 3D objects include a variety of images to represent their surfaces. If you know anything about 3D, you've probably heard of things like diffuse, albedo, bump, and normal maps. The renderer takes these images and uses them to represent the object's surface, which is called the "material."

Most renderers include an automated process for taking images (maps or textures) of a 3D object and setting up its materials. However, since materials vary slightly from renderer to renderer, it's important to ensure that the 3D object's materials are set up properly. Setting up the background takes time because it involves importing the background into the renderer I'm using, verifying that it works, and making adjustments to the materials. It also requires setting up proper lighting based on the position of the background and the character.

The background for P5G3-2 includes a lot of props and details. Here, Suzi will have a good life with the goblins for a while.
