NOTICE: I am looking for a Chinese translator (Patreon)

Hi, patrons!

Last month I told you that I would be supporting a new language. Please refer to the previous post for details.

Therefore, I plan to start working on a Chinese translation this month. However, since it is the first attempt to support a new language, there may be trial and error. Nevertheless, if possible, I'll try to include a Chinese version of this month's rewards, but please understand if it's delayed to next month.

I don't read Chinese at all, so if I get feedback that the quality of the translation is not good, I will be able to replace the Chinese translator immediately.

I'll first look for a Chinese translator among my Patrons and Fanbox supporters, and if no one can help, I'll look for him on Twitter, Slushe, or pixiv fans.

Here's what I want my Chinese translator to be:

  • Native Chinese (or equivalent)
  • Fluency in English
  • Those who must be able to use Discord and Google Docs
  • Those who have enough time for 2-3 days at the end of each month
  • Please note that translation work, like proofreading, will not help you enjoy my work

I will collaborate with a Chinese translator and English proofreader through Discord and Google docs. I already know that Google and Discord are restricted in China. But for co-works, this is essential.

I will try to provide images and text together for smooth translating; Sometimes, a translator will have to translate with only English text.

When sending a message, I would appreciate it if you could briefly introduce me to your Chinese writing or proofreading experience.


As with an English proofreader, I will give a few benefits to a Chinese translator.


Finally, I have something to say to those concerned that adding a new language will affect my work.

As I have mentioned several times, adding a new language will not hinder my creation. However, I will withdraw from making the new language edition if I feel it.

Supporting new languages will help me have more patrons. Moreover, it will allow me to make 3DX a little more stable for a long time. Therefore, I wish to ask for your understanding!

2023-02-18 19:43:18 Hi Jared, I do not have the qualification of translating (technically any bilingual person could get the job done at a basic level, but a diploma in translating takes up to a year to complete) but would suggest the potential translator producing both Simplified Chinese and Traditional Chinese versions. This could be done instantly via Google Translate. The reason behind this is that while I personally have no difficulty reading both, some followers might have their own preferences. Thanks!

Hi, Jasper. Thanks for the suggestion. First of all, it will be essential to add a new language. I'm thinking of making a Simplified Chinese version first. Since you said translating from Simplified Chinese to Traditional Chinese is easy, the Traditional Chinese version will probably be made faster. However, adding a new language may cause some unexpected issues. Once I've experienced those issues and resolved them, it will be possible to create a Traditional Chinese and another language version. Thank you again!🤗👍
