Something thats frustrating with this documentary is the editing of it. The timeline is very messed up and clips are all over the place. As in, they were in March 2020 when they were talking about concerts being cancelled but then showed a clip of Jimin in Quarantine from December 2021 after the PTD LA concerts when He, Jungkook and Jin returned to Korea and they all had to quarantine due to the new wave of COVID, and then it showed Jungkook and J-Hope drinking after the Grammys April 2021 but if you were not aware you would think all of those clips were happening in March 2020 at the same time. Thats happened a few times throughout this series so far where clips and timelines are all over the place.

DAYDREAM

It breaks my heart, I remember Yoongi was enduring the whole online concert with the chronic pain in his shoulder... he did so well :'/

Yeah, it's jarring when you know their content really well. You can tell they're trying to use the clips to tell the story. Hobi saying something along the lines of "It's disappointed that it didn't work out when we prepared so much" is I'm sure a sentiment that he felt when the 2020 concert tour was cancelled, even if he actually said it about the Grammys. Likewise, they're trying to tell the story of the pandemic, so clips of people quarantining make sense - but obviously it's not like they had the foresight (or were in the mood) to film the 2020 time, so they use one from 2021, when Jimin really only had to deal with boredom and not soul-crushing disappointment and despair of not knowing when a global pandemic was going to end. I think they're telling the story well for more casual fans and the GP, but for really involved army, we're like "that's not where that clip is from!" and also "wow, I can't believe they left [blank] out!"

You put it together correctly - the grammys were virtual that year, so they were listening to the broadcast and if they had been announced as the winners, the cameras in front of them would have been turned on and they would have given their acceptance speech - which is why they were all dressed up on a set. Because they didn't win, the cameras never turned on - but BTS posted the footage from their own cameras (that we saw here) on twitter afterwards. If you watch the full clip, you hear RM say "I knew it" when they didn't win - which really says all there is to say about the grammys. Dynamite was indeed just a song they put out in an effort to cheer everyone up. It was released around the time that they officially cancelled the MotS tour (rather than just indefinitely postponing it). Basically, a classic BTS strategy - "Something sad happened!?!? Release a song and/or photos and/or a shirtless selfie! BTS TO THE RESCUE!"

I don't understand why they did that, it takes u out of the moment. Last episode I heard: have a good night Texas! Or something like that then next shot they're leaving the airport in Korea and Hobi is saying we're leaving again. I'm like, leaving? We were just in Texas w/ u, what's going on?

yesss map of the soul one is one of my favorite concerts they did, it was sooo epic! if you ever decide to react to it, day 1 was extra emotional and special (for me at least)

Omg Austin you are not alone, when we saw footage of Jimin's house i wanted to close my eyes it felt so private! Especially since Jimin never shows us footage of his place! And you have t osee MOTS one concert! IT IS epic and I am so sad we missed out on that world tour because of Covid

JImin made me cry during Day 1 and i was still getting to know them at the time. But it really left an impression on me.

So bittersweet watching the Grammy footage and how excited they were to get their first nomination. It was a huge milestone for them, and imo they really should have won it.

You should DEFFO watch the MOTS ONE concert as well as all the behind the scenes on the DVD, there's some great moments in the behind the scenes, as well as really getting to see more of their thoughts and opinions regarding that time

MOTS ONE Concert i feel like is a masterpiece of a concert. The production and the level of performance from the members are something else. Def a must watch :)
