I am starting THE RISE OF BANGTAN docu-series!

I will be posting all episodes on Patreon first and then posting on YouTube slowly once I've finished the series!

As far as I know there aren’t any episodes of JK on that superstar k3 show. I don’t think he got past the audition round, and he just received offers based off of his audition.

Aneesa was the one who made it. She just credits ARMY🥹 (I think she had a few army admins to help too) She works in film editing. I was a Patreon of hers when it was going on. She only used money for equipment/software needed & then donated the balance & closed her Patreon. Sometimes she would watch the chapter premieres on livestreams with us🫶🏻💜

That's it?...I would say the same thing after every episode🤪 I'm not too sure on why they were off YouTube but was surprised when it showed up in my recommendations again. I though it was a fake account that re-uploaded it. When I was baby ARMY watching this it gave me a lot of context into kpop as it wasn't in my sphere. U kno, Boracity Magazine has a video that does a really good job at breaking down their discography. It uncludes the pre-debut and SoundCloud stuff that are not common knowledge. It's I think her longest video but a great watch as well. Aneesa did a great job here at sourcing so much content. Our boys are so hardworking that years in and I'm still not caught up. Anyways, I'm looking forward to watching these w/ u. Take ur time, cause even when I've had to wait for content from u, u r always worth the wait.

Around the 14min mark - a good thing to look out for in this series is that Aneesa will set up the stereotype, or the industry norm, and then show clips of BTS and how they either DEFY that stereotype/norm or are also part of it (depending on the topic). Aneesa set up how the industry at the time wanted the idols to appear - as IDOLS ei: gods and goddesses who are untouchable and above you, perfect in every way... versus BTS, who instead aimed to be relatable, human, and sincere... a friend, rather than a god. You'll see her do this in future episodes too, so always look at what's being said about the industry norms and whether or not the clips she's showing of BTS match that or don't.

yes this was all one person (Aneesa, a professional video editor who’s been ARMY since 2013 and spent literally 4 to 5 years making this) but she wanted to credit all of ARMY so used “we” in the intro. I’m really happy you’re doing this! It’d be a great complementary series to album reactions 👀 I love how Aneesa structured each chapter to capture a certain era and a certain theme - if you see the future chapter titles, you’ll notice that they’re all bts songs (not necessarily released in the same time that the chapter is set in, but more indicating the theme that the chapter will revolve around.) Jungkook was eliminated in the audition process so there’s not much to see from the show, but if you remember: it’s really cute that when he received all those offers from entertainment companies, he only chose BigHit because he looked up a video of RM rapping and “fell for him” (his words) And they weren’t livestreaming yet at this point! All these videos were prerecorded youtube vlogs, they didn’t start livestreams for a couple of years :)

I recommend to react of the album talked in the episode at the same time (I know you already react to some) . Not all episode are related to one album, it can be a tour/concert or other big event.

U can find the clip of JK’s audition & it’s adorable bc the sound quality sucks & he was also sooo shy then but he still somehow got contacted by a bunch of big companies (then chose big hit bc of RM). Hi Austin!! THIS series gets better and better and you will love it! As for Tae, he wasn't the last to join, Jimin was the last member to become official but Tae was the hidden member. He wasn't shown till they debuted and from what we have found out, Bang PD did this to make BTS come out with a surprise and splash to stand out since a 6 member band turning out to be 7 would be a surprise. Just a tactic to make them stand out as they were debuting with basically low budget.

Jungkook didnt even get through the auditions for SuperstarK so the only footage we have is the one they showed where he's in the white shirt singing quietly

Hi, yes the restaurant is still there I visited South Korea 2 weeks ago and di the BTS Army tour and it was included in it and its where we had lunch. Now its like a BTS shrine with posters and items everywhere. The restaurant owner is still the same lady and even served our food.
