Sleeqs original music may be more human rights activism type of music… but really that’s pretty much what all these raps she did in this show were in a way… speaking to people who need to hear these things in a way… but also again she’s super cute and silly with the girls on the show now and has been for quite awhile.. ya know hyper and stuff… and kinda seems like that’s who she really is lol I think this was in the summer so that’s how they wanted it to sound and mesh who they are together… not necessarily just what their music sounds like together specifically… I mean how they were walking around holding hands… “being one” kinda thing.. they blended their colors they’re more known for wearing together on their shirts… they showed a bit more of who they are personally and honestly sleeq pretty much does what the other person wants to do lol she’s been such a good sport and one of the only ones who wasn’t super headstrong and insistent on things they wanted to do. Not in a bad way but bc they’re all just really wanting to show what they can do… she’s fangirling most of the time so she’s like “anything I’m yours” just like most of us would be 😂 I loved it for them and thought it was cute, cheeky and had a good message… which fits wasabi and sleeq to me ! So fun watching

About Ailee. She was really, really popular in Korea. Ailee and IU were two of the most popular soloists during their time (Taeyeon/Hyolyn didn't put out solo stuff yet at that time). Her name always gets included among idol singers with great vocals together with Taeyeon, IU, Hyolyn, and Park Bom. I think, something happend around 3 or 4 years ago when she changed her agency and she wasn't or couldn't promote well so her popularity wasn't as it was. However, the public already know how good Ailee is so she was still loved by a lot of people.

As for SNSD, it's true that there was never really anyone in the group that was assigned to be the rap line when they debuted. At that time, I think SM was going for a girl group that was vocally good and can sing harmoniously. They just had to follow the trend as the times changed and most, if not all of the other girl groups already had rappers. The closest song that we got in their early discography that included "rapping" was Destiny in 2009 and Wake Up in 2010. I'm not even sure if it really counts as rapping or more like flowy-rap-singing. 😅 But Yes, since rap sections in girl group songs became very popular starting 2009, SNSD had to adapt to that change as well and started to have some songs with a rap section starting with 'The Boys' album in 2011.

Oh no babe ! Sorry if it came out rude , now that I reread it with your perspective it sounds kinda judgy lol but no way.. there’s literally like 50 ppl you’re trying to learn just from kingdom alone lol nothing wrong with not recognizing after one episode or even a bunch of episodes.. I know you try very hard. Don’t feel bad about it at all. With all the content you post about so many different groups… I could never… my brain hurts just thinking about it. You’re the best!!! Next time I’ll just drop the fyi just as a side note instead lol you’re actually really quick on picking names and faces to me … like queendom I had I clue like half of each groups names lol so yeh… you’re absolutely fine my dude!!! I’m surprised you felt like ailee was a diva kinda person .. remember how cute and sweet she was with sleeq the whole time they worked together? She was often dancing around with the girls or messing around with them .. she seemed to get along with all the other good girl members … she never cared about what music they did really if someone else had an idea… she’s sweet and funny and fun fact she was born and raised in the US lol think grew up in Colorado and college in New York for communications I believe.. OH and she was actually a YouTuber !!!! She dropped out of college to pursue her dream.. which was music. She signed with a New York based agency on the spot… then she left and went to South Korea to focus on music and then went and that’s where she started her YouTube … family friend got her an audition and got her signed to that label… that’s just the beginning of her career in sk that was filled with a lot of ups and down…and hope you’ll get to dig deeper into , her music and I think you’ll love her ! Either way thanks for Introducing me to this show !!! I learn a lot with ya

The reason Woodz appeared was to give support to Jamie who was his classmate in high school. They've been friends since and even made an unofficial group together w. music producer Nathan called M.O.L.A. They then added Pentagon's Kino, SVT's Vernon, and guitarist Hoho. They released music on Soundcloud though their last one was on Jamie's album officially, called "PUTP"
