OMG! I haven't heard Don't Cry For Me in a while but it still hit me as hard as the first time I heard it during this episode, just such an epic performance! The guy who called himself MNet's son is Daehwi, he won the very first Produce series on MNet to debut in WannaOne (other groups from Produce include I.O.I, Iz*One, X1 or Kep1er). He also recently performed Let It Go with Solar at KpopFlex as a special stage. Guy is a fantastic singer. Unfortunately,AB6IX leader 'Lim Young Min‘ because of the drink-driving, the footage of him was completely edited out,This also created a very bad situation for the group, who were about to release a new album at the time.

I’m surprised you haven‘t heard of Ravi at all, even after her dated Taeyeon. Even if you haven’t heard of his music, I thought he might be vaguely familiar because of that. Yes, he does run his own label. About Hyolyn’s “Nine Lives”: This was her debut of this song. No one had heard the song or saw a performance before Good Girl. Even the music video didn’t come out until a few months later. She didn’t start preforming it on music shows until later that year also. That’s why they were so surprised by her more emotional song and barefoot performance. And no, it’s not the same fangirl dancer from Queendom. You’re right that Wa$abi doesn’t have much TV experience. She was getting a little viral buzz at the time, but hadn’t done a lot of TV. Hitting your marks and finding the camera is a whole skill set in itself. It was fun and she did well imo

Don't Cry for me is still on my playlist up to this day. Your reaction in 3:29 though! I know your OT9 heart skipped a beat. Also, Queendom 1 was in 2019 while Good Girl was in 2020.

I’d say that sleeqs rap was chefs kiss to ailees vocals… the choice of song, the choir , the visuals and the lyrics sleeq rapped were perfection for the song and her more low toned rap was filled with emotion… and I think they’re chemistry performing was beyond what ppl would have expected. Like before when sleeq was fangirling over ailees voice… ailee was loving it lol she thought sleeq was so cute, kind and just precious:.. and towards the end when they kinda turned towards each other while ailee was singing.. it felt very genuine. That performance and song is everything. Def on the playlist!!!

I don’t think hyolyn promotes anything in the US really? I know she spent time here with dance studios and stuff in LA and other places… but has she done stuff promoting in the US? All the YouTubers that discover her love her… but she’s not the gen that social media became so much more popular.. think that has something to do with it.. I agree it’s insane she’s not huge here.. she could out song most singers here anyday… she sings a bit like Ariana .. where the biggest voices come out of these tiny women with insane vocal runs, belts and emotion. Also what fan did she have on queendom? that you think this dancer was? Wait you said queendom 2… she wasn’t on queendom 2 was she? Park bogum was and the dancer from brave girls danced for her… can’t think of her name right now…or maybe I’m confused lol

Hyolyn was on Queendom 2. The entire season. LOL she was a contestant. She had a fan perform with her. It was cute.

I thought the Taeyeon x Ravi dating rumor was just a rumor since neither side confirmed. Was it ever confirmed? But I agree with everything else you mentioned. Just wanted to add that Ailee was under Ravi's label though she recently parted ways. Wheein is currently under Ravi's label right now.

I love OMG and was really surprised by YooA's vocal power! But Ailee and Sleeq gave such an emotional performance it is hard to compete and really would be up to personal preference. I enjoyed both though but felt Ailee/Sleeq had a slight edge for me. Queen Wa$abii looool. I think she made that performance really fun though especially for the live audience. I felt bad for Yunhway. I really like her voice, rapping, music style, but Hyolyn is just next level. Hard to compete with power vocals. Yunhway even said she didn't think she could beat Hyolyn but really other than Ailee, and maybe Youngji, it would have been difficult to pick who could "beat" Hyolyn. Youngji would have competed with a style completely different and Ailee's singing is probably on par with Hyolyn but Hyolyn had a performance edge to it too. I think it's funny that the team Good Girl team facing AB6IX has 4 idols themselves (Jamie, Jiwoo, Yeeun, Hyoyeon). Almost like a seasoned idol matchup against their hoobaes. Loving your reactions. There was a moment, maybe a day or two, when Ravi’s label confirmed it. Then, they changed their tune. I had to look it up to make sure I wasn’t misremembering. It was like “SM denies, GROOVL1N confirms…oh, wait lol never mind. GROOVL1N denies too.”
