This season in Malta is a lot of fun.
This episode was especially cute with the members in pairs exploring together!
I loved J-Hope/RM, Suga/Jin & JK/Jimin.  
I can't wait for Taehyung to get there so they can all enjoy Malta together!

About "-s" : from several years ago, young people add "s" to the end of name or (korean) word. there is no meaning, just for fun. Namjoon-s, Jongkook-s... As far as I remember, it was initially a witty plural form by adding S after a Korean noun... But these days .. no meaing, just for fun. "Namjoon-ssi" or "j-hope-ssi" : "kolea626" 's right. it means Mr. "-ssi" : a term used to exalt or treat a person. It is a difficult word to use for superiors unless it is in an official or clerical position or in an article aimed at a large number of readers, and is usually used for colleagues or subordinates.

Lol well not all places have access to the same animals and tend to have their food focused based on what is around. What’s common where you’re from isn’t going to be common everywhere… based on you categorizing it as “peasant food,” lol since that’s def not how it’s being shown and prepared here

You realize I was speaking in a historical context and not in present day context. Malta is known as being conquered by various peoples and so many different aspects of their cultures, including food, would have been introduced into the island. Peasants or common people were on the low status pretty much everywhere and were not privy to eating meat, that’s well known.

nope namjoon is in the hyung line (same age as j-hope) but he is the maknae of the hyung line

The waiter when Jimin and Jungkook were ordering their food actually thought they were telling him they were a couple when they said together which is why he reacted like laughing and pointing at them both, also someone who has since been to Malta multiple times and made friends with the boat owner cleared something up that confused alot of people, when Jimin and Jungkook were waving to the others with their phone lights, they had dropped all the other members back off at shore and then just Jimin and Jungkook went back out on the boat for a few hours. Also people have noted before, they said Jungkook is not a fan of lots of activities and Jimin likes seeing everything, yet Jungkook arranged a 3 day trip for him and Jimin to explore Tokyo together

Yup he is number 4 fourth oldest right in the middle I remember when I was a new army i always thought he was the oldest. 😆

They don't fire it with a cannonball, it's just the gunpowder to make a noise, which also marks the time and for a spectacle for tourists etc. 🙂 thanks for another episode I love this season.

The adding the S thing was trending in Korea at the time. I don’t know who started it or how it caught on, but it was very common for a while. They’ve actually been doing it throughout this season, but with Korean words, so it’s probably less noticeable. Like when they’re eating RM says “vegetables” before taking a bite, but adds an exaggerated S sound.

Yeah JK rarely dyes his hair bright colors this was around Idol mv era where his hair was a deep hot pink almost red people called it "cherry" colored but as the color faded it became a bit more pink. Tae had the "half and half" hair color for the Idol Mv half being pink and half blonde but the pink either was a temporary color or was faded by the time they filmed BV3. I started cracking up you mentioned cannibalism when JK was eating rabbit meat I'm sure people joked about it too at the time but I'd forgot about that lol. I loved seeing them sight see and the cathedral was gorgeous. I also looked up Korean etiquette as I was curious about removing ones hat after you asked and it's also respectful etiquette to remove your hat in a place of worship or entering someone's home there (your shoes too). It made me think too seeing RM wanting to visit the cathedral about currently the situation him visiting a Buddhist temple, I kept seeing people make comments probably haters questioning why he would even go if he has said in the past he is an atheist. Temples can be a historic cultural place and there are sites to see potentially like architecture, art, and even gardens. It's also a quiet retreat from the world and one doesn't have to be religious to enjoy any of that. Also one can change their views you never know so it bothered me people where even debating that when the issue was trust and privacy being ignored by a monk of all people. I personally tell people I'm not religious or that I'm agnostic which is neither faith nor disbelief. I don't have a set belief rather I'm openminded and I've thought maybe RM is actually agnostic which seems to suite his questioning and pursuit of knowledge maybe he is more logical in his thought process or perhaps he also seeks spiritual enlightenment. I personally don't equate spiritualism automatically with religious faith, I related it with being attuned with either yourself like a soul or with nature. But this is just my thoughts on it and he may think completely different. I'm really enjoying watching this with you and I'm excited for the next episodes.

Love Malta so much that I'd wanted to move there at some point so to see my boys in Malta is like heaven. Kookmin wearing their beloved black clothes under a scorching sun is true dedication.I heard Kookie's hair are not the best to bleach and dye so they leave his hair alone, I'm glad bc Jungkook is gorgeous with his natural dark hair 🌸

I agree this episode is so cute :D One of my favorite scenes is definitely NamSeok predicting what YoonJin and JiKook are probably doing and then it cuts to the pairs and shows they were right haha. I always love to see all the different dynamics on BV and how well they all know each other

It's common here in Europe to take your hat off, in schools, restaurants, government places (like older people walk up to you and ask for it) and in catholic places like Italy, Malta, Greek, Poland and some parts of Germany it's wanted in cathedrals and churches, synagogues and moshes too. Same with taking shoes of, people will yell at you, when u get into their Houses with Shoes on.

I love every time they do these duo trips! Idk what it’s like for other religions, but yes, you’re definitely supposed to remove hats/hoods etc when entering a church or cathedral. (You should also have your shoulders and knees covered, but that’s less enforced (I remember on my visit to portugal, there were ladies selling beautiful shawls and scarves to tourists in tank tops standing outside cathedrals though)). On the rare times I’ve forgotten, I’ve definitely been reminded to take my hat off by other visitors - Suga might have googled etiquette or just known as a general fact :) I’ve ever been to malta, but it looks so interesting and beautiful! I’m glad to live vicariously through them until I can arrange a trip there myself xD

Jungkook doesn’t like to dye his hair bc he’s got sensitive skin… and it irritates it apparently.. which is so sad bc honestly he loooks PHENOMENAL anytime he dyes his hair.. Cherry kook is one of my faves.. but the kinda faded blond with pink is gorgeous too.. like for the airplane or 2 mv he looks incredible… his purple hair for butter was insane, his blue hair in like 2020 was gorgeous.. but that’s why he did a lot of ombré hairstyles to stay away from his scalp like in the ON era with his blue tips, red tips in 2019 , but he’s also gone blond and is just insanely handsome blond… but it’s why he does so many hairstyles…. Instead of all the dying! His undercut with the blond on top and black under was also amazing…. We didn’t get long enough with two tone jk

Malta is on my list of places to visit. It is beautiful there. It is so funny seeing Yoongi all in black now that he is representing Valentino and has been dressing so fancy lately. 😻 I was commenting earlier today that all seven are looking extraordinarily beautiful. I will never forget 2022 and 2023. 💜

I always considered "rabbit" peasant food, rabbit being what commoners had access to. On certain landholds, if people were caught laying traps for rabbit, they were put in prison, it was considered theft.

What you may be hearing is "Namjoon-ssi" or "j-hope-ssi", which is just a formal way of addressing each other on camera (Mr. Namjoon, Mr. j-hope). As Namjoon and j-hope are the same age, they could address each other as Namjoon-na, sometimes RM addresses j-hope as Hoba, which is a shortened version of Hobi-na. Whereas most of the members would address Jin and/or SUGA as Jin-hyung or SUGA-hyung because Jin and SUGA are older. I'm not an expert, but this becomes obvious as you watch their content.
