A great episode! It was fun to watch with you! Season 3 had a couple of family-related interruptions. They don't really explain them too much in the show because they fell under the umbrella of "personal life" - but that's why it's not all members (and also why V might seem a little sad at times during Season 3, because there had just been a death in his family). Suga didn't have his surgery until the pandemic, when they weren't traveling anyway - so the only thing it interfered with was his presence for end of year shows in 2020.

I felt the same when I watched Hawaii too… I loved every second! But truly, I know we keep saying this, but every season gets better!

Spoiler Warning: Yeah Yoongi did have to leave on season 3 unfortunately, they said for personal reasons at the time but a year later it was revealed on his brother's IG that Suga's grandma had passed away and that was the reason for his departure. V missed the first couple episodes but joined later also because his grandfather passed shortly beforehand. Season 3 was filmed in July of 2018. V's grandfather passed in 2018 while his grandmother passed already in 2016 (I say this because people often get confused about the timing of events as they mix it up saying it's when his grandma passed but that happened in 2016). This is another reason that it was a really hard year for them, the end of 2017 was as well. TRIGGER WARNING A friend of V's Lee Ui-soo took his own life in October 2017 not too long after they filmed BV2 in June 2017. I personally believe we started seeing him change personality wise around that time, this is just my conjecture of course as I know it's also possible that people just change naturally over time too.

So Namjoon has said that, if he were to appoint Leader position to other member, he would choose Jhope... So yes, Hobi actuallydoes have leader quality in him. What Namjoon probably meant by "He's the leader in publication" was more like he's the face of BTS, that most people known. Meanwhile, hobi is like the leader in the "behind the camera", mostly in charge of their stage and performance.

As a fandom, we often call Namjoon our president and J-Hope our vice president. I think the two of them work really well with one another and each of them bring something different but incredibly valuable to the leadership of the team. As with Namjoon, I do think that J-Hope gives practical advice as well - we see this with his conversation with V at the beginning of In The Soop when they are discussing V's mixtape and the advice J-Hope shares. Or even in their documentaries when he is "scolding" Jungkook about the importance of maintaining energy throughout their concerts. Despite what people think, the members and J-Hope themselves have said that J-Hope is quite the introvert and is more of a listener than I speaker and I think that really shows when you pay close attention to their interactions. He pays close attention to the others and is always taking care of their needs. I certainly agree that Namjoon has a tendancy to devalue himself. He plays such an integral part to the team and is an incredible leader who all the members look up to. He bears a lot of responsibility and duty as the leader and he does it with such grace and humility. The two of them together make a formidable leadership team, that's for sure!

I love the friendship tours as they call them. Yoongi & Tae are both Daegu boys, which draws them together I think. Just like JK & Jimin being from Busan. I think a lot of people miss the fact that each member has a unique & special relationship with every other member. And each relationship is so wonderful to see. Tae has always held a special place in Yoongi’s heart I think. After Yoongi realized how different & unique Tae was when he joined as a trainee, you can see how he would go out of his way to make sure Tae was included in things and not left out. Like when Tae missed getting to blow the candle on their cake out, Yoongi offered his finger to Tae to blow out. Sweetest thing I have ever seen. Pulling him close for group pictures. As someone else commented, Yoongi & Tae approach matters from different perspectives so they don’t always agree, but the love and respect for each other is always there. RM & Hobi are a close unit as they work together leading the team and are both 94 liners. Also both being in the Rap line. Hobi isn’t one to reveal a lot about his private self anyway. So I understand how a lot of their relationship is off camera. And don’t get me started on Jin, JK & Jimin. 🤣 Love those 3 together!!! BV Hawaii will always be among my favorite BTS content. 💜

The birds in the trees make that "noise" in the Blue Hour and again in the morning. They're relatively quiet throughout the rest of the day, unless feral chickens are in your neighborhood.

I was actually sad the whole season 3 because they're not complete there a lot of times, that's why i can't say that that is my favorite season

I love everything about BTS. All they do is fun to watch but there's one thing that drive me nuts, their table manners. It must be a cultural thing but Jimin trying to shove half of that huge burger in his mouth with a fork and talking while chewing it. For fluff sake dude 🤣💦
