For why Eyes Nose Lips for Bom, it was because Bom was recording a cover of it in 2014 if i'm not wrong. However, the controversy came AS she was recording it so we didn't get a chance to listen to her version!

Honestly when I think of Queendom 1 the first thing I thin of is Oh My Girl's Twilight performance, it's just so explosive and cool and exciting. Mamamoo was the first girl group I fell in love with, but over time and partially because of Queendom Oh My Girl has just skyrocketed for me, to the point where they're only behind Twice on my total ult list. Their albums are all so good, I hope you get to listen to some in the future!

Hi Sir Austin!!! This was amazing! You got almost all of Oh My Girl Members correctly: Hyojung ✅️ Mimi ✅️ YooA ✅️ Seunghee ✅️ Jiho ✅️ Yubin ✅️ Arin -------- You described Arin as "the most convincing vampire look..." She is the maknae and visual of Oh My Girl and used to be the host of Music Bank. She is probably the most popular member of Oh My Girl. Although you see all of the members regularly on TV shows in Korea because they're booked and busy with variety shows and all. 😉

Well, maybe I am in the minority here since nobody else has mentioned it so far but I really disliked switching to the Youtube-Videos, at least if it's done the way like for the Oh My Girl-Performance. For me, the reactions from the other groups are an important part and one of the reasons, why this show ended up being so enjoyable; some might even say wholesome. It won't matter for the final episode but if you plan to react to Queendom 2, I hope the reactions of the other groups will be shown.

Yeah I like seeing the reactions too!! But at the same time it does kinda interrupt the entire flow of the performance, so you don't get a full picture of it (ESPECIALLY with RTK and Kingdom since they heavily relied on camera tricks) When I watched Queendom, RTK, and Kingdom, I first watched the full version of it without the reactions, and the again with the reactions. It was more fun for me that way personally.

SirAustin

Thanks! This is only an issue with season 1 since season 2 is available on streaming sites. I’ll check the quality of the finale episode 🤞

What a journey it has been watching your Queendom reactions! I'm so happy you're loving Oh My Girl. Queendom played a huge role for their career indeed. I do not know if you'll do more reactions to Oh My Girl in the future but if you can, I'd like to suggest their performance on Sketchbook in April 2022. It's a cover of Lee Mujin's song 'Traffic Light'. It's just a very chill performance but very good vocal wise since Sketchbook is known for live vocal stages. You will enjoy it. https://youtu.be/W1ubd2J0Xro

2023-01-31 04:54:13 I'm not caught up yet so idk if you've talked about what you're doing after Queendom but I really think you'd enjoy Idol Drama Operation Team. The cast includes Moonbyul as well as Oh My Girl's Yooa and Lovelyz's Sujeong. And Seulgi from Red Velvet. I'm sure you've no shortage of options - Queendom Season 2 (idk if you've been told who's in that cast so I won't say however there's definitely 1 person you love). Or maybe you could explore some of the Produce series or Girls Planet 999 with Tifffany & Sunmi as judges - or speaking of Tiffany, SNSD are reality/variety queens and would be real fun to watch with you...OR Invincible Youth. Which is a real special once in a lifetime show where the cast all still are friends and support each other to this day. If you ever get to the point where we can commission you to watch specific episodes of something, I'm telling you, THAT is the one. You don't really know the cast too well (with the exception of Sunny & Yuri) but it is so, SO good. But anyway, as far as what you personally would enjoy, I think you'd really enjoy IDOT. And I'm really hoping after episode 10 there's something girl group-y because while I appreciate all the content you've shared over the past few years and am happy to be a patreon regardless of what you do or don't post, I just can't make myself get into boy groups. I managed it somehow with Shinee years ago but that's it.

I came to KPOP relatively late, in August 2019, therefore discovered Oh My Girl through Arin's MC gig on Music Bank (she and TXT Soobin together were known as Akong). There are super GGs from the second gen but I've never quite connected with them. Oh My Girl is exactly my type - beautiful, talented, fantastic vocals, they do any concept, they have rappers!!, their choreography can be ethereal, strong, beautiful, their MVs are strange, colorful, have a thread that ties them one to the other, and the members are close and connect to each other. I can appreciate many GGs because they are talented but Oh My Girl I truly stan.

2023-01-31 04:54:17 I also thought, that IDOT would be a good option considering the cast - and that it's not too long might help also, maybe?! Optionally, it also has a 1 Year-After-Reunion-Special, which is about 30 Min. long and a great watch, if you liked the show. While watching Park Bom's performance, I thought that Fantastic Duo should also be something you would enjoy, if you're interested in listening/watching something that's not strictly KPop. It's a show from 2016 where fans could sing a duet with their favorite singer and features some great korean singers like Lee Sun-hee & Lee Moon Se. Taeyang was also there just like Exo, Kim Wan-sun, Sistar, Bada, Ailee, Kim Yoon-ah and others. I couldn't find the pilot anywhere but the other episodes are all readily available. There was also a 2nd season in 2017 with great guests like IU & Psy but personally I didn't like it very much. Obviously, the producers felt the need to change something and in the process turned a simple but charming formula into a mess - but that's just my personal opinion. There are a lot of clips on Youtube for this show, so maybe you watch one or two performances to see if it's your cup of tea. I recommend anything from Lee Sun-hee and Lee Moon-se or Taeyang, if you're checking out Eyes, Nose, Lips anyway.
