Love the OMG love! :) They were new to me until Queendom as well and since watching the show I have always come back to their Destiny performance from time to time (among others). For some reason I enjoy their live performances more than their MVs. Their MVs are fine but like Mamamoo, they are much more enjoyable to watch in their live stages. I don't know if it's their smiles or live singing and how they interpret the music through their dancing/singing and facial expression but something about it makes me smile. OMG members just makes me think of little sisters you want to protect haha. They were my underdogs in the show too (along with AOA).

It's nice to know that you're personal top 1 and 2 were actually the most iconic cover stages for the Queendom franchise. Their performances especially that of Oh My Girl were so popular back then that at some point they were wearing Hanboks in some of their performances in different shows. In fact, they received recognition for taking the lead in promoting Hanbok overseas at the 2022 Hanbok Culture Week.

I'm really enjoying this series with you. I'm not familiar with Korean competition shows, but I like the weekly themes and how creative the groups get. I also like hearing their music. I'm only slightly familiar with Mamamoo so it's all pretty much new to me. Making the teams say who they voted to be lower is kinda awkward though. It makes me uncomfortable for them. On a side note - your husband would have nailed the "opening bags with your toes" challenge. He has some serious skills! 😉💜

The Oh My Girl member you pointed out as "very pretty" is Arin, the previous Music Bank MC with Tomorrow X Together Soobin [together, they were known as Akong]. During the COVID era, Music Bank extended their contract as Akong were very popular with both viewers and guests alike - they were MCs for 18 months, the standard is one year. Their concept was boy/girl next door, sweet friendly lovely talented people to invite into your "home" every Friday night.

I think this is the fourth time I've watched Queendom. I just enjoy it endlessly, all the groups are so talented even if my ults are Mamamoo. Oh My Girl is definitely my second favorite group here, they have the talent, personality, AND discography so I totally get where you're coming from. I hope you eventually get to see more of Seunghee (she's the one with the funny reactions all the time) because she's awesome and considered to be the best vocalist in Oh My Girl.
