Yay! What a great choice to watch! I love these interviews. They kind of simplified Yoongi's accident for the Amygdala MV... I think because it was safer to film it that way than it would have been to recreate it exactly - from the way Yoongi has described it, it happened in the pouring rain and he ended up partially underneath the vehicle that hit him - and it was more a case of a vehicle driving straight into him, rather than him driving into a vehicle (as what happened in the MV). Jin doesn't have as long an interview in this episode, because he actually called them afterwards and asked them to cut most of his individual interview out because it was "too sad" - which is kind of very typical of Jin, he wants to only show army happy things, and my guess is that he spoke more about their near-break-up in 2018 and his feelings back then. The part with the army in the beginning always makes my heart so warm - because you can tell they're just absolutely in love with her. This was also their only contact with a member of army since the pandemic had begun. A full year later. It's such a fun scene, because - as what happened with you - you'd think that SHE was the world famous celebrity with the way they react to her.

I’m back after having watched… I wrote this comment as I was watching so as to answer some of your questions and also chime in with the sub variations. I’m really sorry but this comment it kinda got out of hand and I went in tangents… it’s as long as the episode 😅 No this was shot early 2021 around march. Jin went on Younji’s show around the release of The Astronaut in latter part of 2022 before military service. JK and Jo Se Ho’s greeting was awkward and JK mentioned contacting SeHo before the filming because they have history from another show very early in their career that was heartbreaking. I won’t repeat it because JK has clearly forgiven Jo Se ho and moved on from it and I think Army should too. Namjoon first appeared on Running Man alongside lots of other idols. It was a ‘smart idol’ special with Sunmi from wonder girls and Kyuhun from super junior and John Park. The episode with all of them they were referring to was the one for the 300th special running man ep where they only appeared for a special but exhausting game. At the time it was kinda of a shame that they didn’t even get to be featured as guests for a full episode etc. It was when Fire had become extremely popular and they had started to get more invitations to variety shows in general. They then didn’t appear as guests until Jin did during his The Astronaut promotions and then Tae appeared on 3 episodes, during Layover promotions and also again just before he went to the military. All those eps of Jin and Tae’s are legendary. They were mentioned on Running man a lot over the years and the running man members even did a special ep where they learned to dance to idol for their fanmeeting. The advertisement’s they were referring to were the ones bought by Tae’s fanbases China Baidu Bar and Nuna V etc. (incidentally Tae’s fan bars don’t get enough credit… they are ones also bought the most amounts of BTS albums over the years more so than any other BTS fan bar or other member fan bar. They always contribute so much to BTS projects but they tend to never get the credit they deserve for being so supportive of the group too. The rest was sooo adorable… so not much to add for the games etc. When it comes to the interviews: It’s a shame with some of the subs during the interviews… up until that point they were pretty decent but they do some of them a little dirty by not being entirely accurate from here and in some cases summarising what they say rather than entirely translating what they say. Tae & Namjoon had a lot of funny witty comments, and Tae had some very adorable turns of phrases, hence why the hosts were whipped but they’re not entirely translated. I loved that Namjoon seemed like such a sophisticated fancy city person to Tae when they first met. Joonie say’s Tae’s first impression was that he was mischievous and that ‘there no way he would listen to me’ not a bad boy. Also Joonie’s ment at that concert was really beautiful and nuanced, saying I hope if even one word or lyric can help you to love yourself…’ Tae’s father’s saying is like the message of the song ‘So What?’. Also how much Tae idolises his dad is so cute and sweet. I don’t know if you know this but Tae lived separately from his parents for a long time from childhood even before being a trainee. They were dual income and worked and lived elsewhere including his younger siblings, whereas Tae who was slightly older than the siblings lived separately with his paternal Grandmother and grandfather in the countryside on a rural farm in Geochang. It’s quite common in S.K for very poor families for the parents to leave the kids to live with relatives while they work. Whenever they have lists of celebrities from very humble backgrounds alongside IU, Tae is mentioned in them. So Tae didn’t get to spend very much time with his parents even before being a trainee and saw them at the weekends mainly… it’s also so special that they drove 12 hours to see him for 30 mins as a trainee. But it also explains Tae’s hero worship of his Dad. The question he answered wasn’t that my dream is to become like my dad but my dad is my dream. The question answer one.: Joonie says let’s do it, Tae say’s it’s going to be hard. The subbers took a break for why Joonie chose Tae as who he wants to live as. He said I’d like to try living as this friend (Tae) Because he’s so good looking. Jimin saying the first person he met was Hobi was so precious. When I think of how long they were roommates etc. And they said that the phone call was a scary thing (subs just say bad). The lady who told Jimin was an older Noona who was on his side telling him to help him. Jimin has talked about being closer to the staff at the time than the other members because he wasn’t one of the trainees due to debut as part of BTS. He was only in the dorm because he was also from the provinces and didn’t have anywhere else to stay. So he was more friends and had dealings with the staff and spent time with them. Slight tangent here for Tae & Jimin’s bed anecdote… it’s such a common relatable thing in everyday life where each thinks they are doing the nice thing for the other without explaining it so misunderstandings happen. So Tae thinking that Jimin wants the top bunk, and selflessly lets him have it. But then turns out Jimin didn’t actually want it in the first place and Jimin thinking he’s doing the nice thing by giving up the bottom bunk. So from Tae’s perspective it’s like ‘why do I have to move to suit you, you chose it and I let you have it what’s the problem now etc. and from Jimin’s I chose it for you I didn’t choose the top bunk because I wanted it but thinking it would be easier for you. I always think Jimin and Tae’s fights came down to Tae being (in my eyes) neurodivergent and taking things that were said as face value and not being able to see what the issue was as well as being quite emotionally delicate and very easily hurt by Jimin’s anger and Jimin wanting to do the polite thing by not going for what he wanted but then getting frustrated. It’s understandable that if you do the polite thing that it’s not tenable in the long run and at some point your true feelings come out. It always reminds me of Jimin talking about the anger issues he had in the early days. In one of his more recent lives he explained how he was like a boomer towards Tae and JK. Cause although he’s the same age as Tae and same age difference with JK as Tae, he was a lot more street smart than both of them but also felt more like an adult. You could really see a difference to Jimin over the years in that relation to the point that he really is much more mellow now. I think the intense environment and the lack of sleep and the uncertainty also didn’t help him. Hobi and JK’s banana incident really is legendary. As is JK crying and keeping Hobi from leaving. While hobi’s mum worked away… Hobi’s father was a literature teacher but he took good care of Hobi, he always cooked him seaweed soup to help fortify him etc, although he didn’t approve of Hobi’s dream at first. Yeah totally understand how you knowing Hobi’s mum’s working abroad to make ends meet would change your appreciation for the song. Again this is quite a common thing in South Korean and Asian culture for a parent to work abroad. You don’t tend to see it in the west at all. Jimin in his interview was specifically talking about celebrity singer friends. He now does have them like his really really close friend Ha Sungwoon whom he sang the our blues ost with. He also appeared in Jimin’s vlog when they vacationed in Hawaii together in 2019. As well as Taemin. Also the subs are again not very good English here they are meant to be ‘you have BTS members, you have me etc…’ Jin asked for his parts of the interview to be edited a bit because he didn’t want some of the vulnerability and sad parts to be shown. He posted after the ep. As many wondered why his wasn’t as in depth. Also Yoongi’s perspective changed a lot in the last year or so too. Also I do think the Grammy will happen somewhere down the line. I could write so much more about them but my brain has turned to mush now… 😅 After each persons interview I just wanted to give them all each a big big hug. Have to admit I really really teared up at the end. I could write an essay about why but I’m emotionally drained. In regards to Tae’s episode. In my personal opinion it’s a must must watch. It’s shorter than this ep with less games etc but really key part of the layover activities he did etc and really good summary of him as a person and Artist. I think you will really enjoy it. Thanks for such a lovely reaction. This was indeed legendary 💜

long time to find it🥲, they have a crack head dance practice for spring day, it's called lovely version, and there might be some encore stages, that r bit more light-hearted about it. The Proof Album, has guides and Demo versions of BTS Songs, there r some interesting sounds in some of them, lol.

I would have given you the link if you mentioned it Austin. Also Youngji Jin was Astronaut era so 2022 while this was 2021 so Jin is just a vampire

Does anyone know if the army girl Kim Jung Hyun went on to do anything else? I googled her but just found articles from this time about her being on the show.

This was really nice to watch again especially now with all these things happening. Hearing their answers and stories on here really affirm why I love these seven guys and why I will always trust them and fight for them. 💜

We hear a lot about how close the boys are. It's one of the many things people are drawn to about BTS. I like that Yoongi said his answers to questions about being close are about fighting. Just like everything else they've gotten - they've earned it. They earned their close, brotherly relationship by working at it - doing the hard and uncomfortable. A lot of people avoid conflict, but I think they saw the value of conflict and the process of resolution (thanks to Bang PD). They're just really special people and I like that this interview gave them an opportunity to share a little more.💜
