My career: How I became popular on 500px (part one) (Patreon)

You know my first steps from previous posts. Now I will tell you about crucial part of my career. 

Summer 2012. I found 500px.com, very interesting site where many photographers from aroun the world present their most impressive works. They were so good, that I was afraid to use my real name :) 

When I decided to upload some of my first photos there, I wasn't sure at my skills at all. I wasn't sure it was good enough to be among great photographers with expensive gear and many years of experience. So, I choose to use my nickname from videogames, "Archer". And when it was neccesary to enter full name, I used "Sean Archer", as an agent from the movie "Face Off". Do you remember Nicholas Cage in this movie? :)

My first photo gained 50 likes and I was totally happy. And then I found that it's really good to upload photos more frequently, maybe every day. So, consistency is the key. And, of course, consistency in quality in another key. It's impossible to make popular hit every day, but your fillers must be really good too.

PS "Filler songs" (in music industry) used to fill time or pad an album around the two or three hits.
