With just 10 more likes, I'll get over 200 for the first time ever! Please help me get there, if you haven't favorited it already on Deviantart!

Tomorrow is a big day for me, but once I'm over the hill I'm excited to share more content over this weekend!

Best and have a great day, everyone.

Done and done. I'll submit it to my group, too. SlammingBigBrawls has a fairly big following. :)

Hey there, Dr. Edgar! Really appreciate the comments you've been leaving! Wow, all the sudden I got a ton of followers, and this piece was picked up by a handful of groups! 200 favorites, here we come :) Are you, BRINGIT-ALL-ON, or ClubCatfight, or SlammingBigBrawls? Good stuff all around! I want to address a comment you made on the Lara Croft animation. I agree to a large extent, I think some of the popular female characters have an aura of invisibility which makes their characters much less compelling. Now, to be fair, I try to reset the clock with them in my projects and start fresh. They are usually more vulnerable, but I still want them to be Badass. Otherwise, the dichotomy doesn't feel genuine to me. Although I want to knock them down a peg, the goal of all the projects is to celebrate their relevance in pop culture. Excited to make more content and can't wait to hear your thoughts :) Thanks for sharing my work dude, really appreciate it!!!! Sincerely

Hey dude, not problem. I belong to hundreds of groups, but I run SlammingBigBrawls and BringItAllOn. The other groups are just groups I belong to that were top of the list that I thought your pic could do well in. I think I sent your piece to about 7 or 8 groups in total. And no problem at all, I love your work and am happy to help. I'm quite a cantankerous character when it comes to casting my opinions and I'm often hard to please (in terms of story outcome). I always want "the other thing". like if I see X defeating Y, my brain will go "Hmm. I'd love to see Y defeating X instread...?" But just know that all my comments are made with a sense of fandom. That's to say that I wouldn't be commenting at all if I didn't love your work. In fact, you could argue that if I moan about my favourite not winning, then it's actually a sign that I'm just really really invested in what you've created, so take it as a compliment! :) In short, never worry about not giving me what I want, LOL. However, your explaination for levelling the playing fields by "resetting the clock" is one of the more respectable explainations I've come across, but it still doesn't stop me mentally putting Lara in the same camp as modern Wonder Woman (not classic) and folks like that, but either way, you enforce vulnerability in all participating characters, and THAT is why I'm always happy, even if the girl I'm rooting for loses. One of my storytelling mottos is "there is no victory without trial", so even if my favourite loses, they still get to be a pain in the ass for whoever wins. :D All the best dude, love your work. - Doc

What a fucking awesome comment dude!! Love to hear this stuff, and I appreciate how open-minded you are! I totally get it with Lara Croft, I went back and did research on the character, and she's fought giant robots, werewolves, the undead, and she's even slayed a dragon. It's completely ridiculous. That's why it's gonna be refreshing with Cassie grabs her by the ponytail and dunks her face in mud. It's as simple as that. You know, I'll say this. I often fantasize about having these strange and uncharacteristic endings to my animations. Like, with Harley vs. Batgirl, what if Barbs walked over to Harley, lifted her up by the jacket, and proceeded to punch her in the face, even though she's already won the fight? Maybe Harley catches a second wind and unhinges Batgirl's belt and she falls off the building. It'd be so dark, and unusual and something that would NEVER happen ANYWHERE in the official canon for the characters. This is a fanmade project, right? Could be the perfect medium to do it! I do truly believe that, but because these great and epic catfights are so rare, I do feel a responsibility to keep some of the classic archetypes intact. My stories almost feel AI-Generated, because I want them to be the middle of the road. I want them to feel like these COULD have existed, instead of these crazy off-beat stories, does that make sense? Lara Croft in a Muddy Jungle Catfight, Black Widow and Catwoman fighting with torn Catsuits in the rain? It all sounds so cliche right? So why the fuck doesn't it exist?! Thats what bothers me and that's the root of why I make what I make. It baffles me that no one has done it before me, but hey, thats why I'm here. Love our conversations dude, are you on Discord? Would love to explore this more with you! :)
