Hello all!

I wanted to give you all an update on what I'm working on. It only seems fair, given that your generous support helps make it happen. I'm going to try to do these posts on a monthly basis (but of course as soon as I say that, I'll forget to do one next month!). Basically 2023 saw me (unexpectedly) focusing on updating my rule supplements. I hope 2024 will see a big surge in my free Greyhawk output.

A week or two ago, you saw the first in a new series of Dragonne magazine articles on specialty clerics of the Flanaess (for 1E AD&D). I plan on continuing the series until all of the gods of the Flanaess have been covered.

I've got a solid outline for my "Rise of Iuz" adventures to link T1-4 with S4, and thence to the Giants/Drow. It'll be a major undertaking, but work does continue. Right now I'm looking at a 2 module series (Verbobonc and then pursuit of Iuz's fleeing minions), but might do an optional third in Sobanwych if the PCs need more x.p. to tackle the challenges.

I'm also thinking of restarting the "Beyond the Flanaess" articles and maps. I still get regular inquiries about the old maps, but I want to go with the new and improved maps instead. I've already done the Baklunish Basin and Zihindia, so next up would probably be Nippon, followed by the Celestial Imperium of Zhufang. That'll probably be the next big push once I'm done with clerics of the Flanaess.

And finally, I'm planning on sending out a little gift to the folks who get print and/or pdf copies of the adventures, just as a way of saying "thank you", since I've slowed down on the published adventures. Make sure your address/email is correct in your account here on Patreon!

Thanks as always for helping me keep Greyhawk alive.

How will your expansion series compare with what was done by RVN studios before they got shut down? I still havent read all the western areas yet.

Honestly I didn't really look at the RVN studios stuff all that closely. Mine uses the canonical Oerik map, though, and is written for 1E AD&D.

Thanks for the update, GG! Continuing the “Beyond the Flanaess” articles (after the stuff on clerics) sounds great! I also love the idea of you doing Nippon and the Celestial Imperium next, as together that would lay the foundation for doing pseudo-Asian campaigning in Greyhawk :) Can I ask what you meant by “old maps” vs “new and improved maps” when you said, “I still get regular inquiries about the old maps, but I want to go with the new and improved maps instead”? I know you did a bunch of Darlene-style maps for the rest of Oerik several years ago. I also remember you saying that, as you do these “Beyond the Flanaess” articles, you would be updating those old maps whenever you get to each new region (like the western part of the Baklunish lands, or Zhindia). Is that all you’re talking about?
