EARLY ACCESS // mushrooms (Patreon)

It’s been a while since I was able to spend a bit more time on a painting! I decided to re-visit the technique from my previous drawing session. I took a sketch from my sketchbook and used a mixture of the lasso tool and a grainy speckled airbrush to paint and blend the colors - you can find a link to that brushset here. I added a close-up of the hair so you can see how that looks when zoomed in. I really like this technique! It adds a lot of texture and gives the painting more of a traditional feel. I didn’t film the entire process of this one, but I filmed some parts of it and I will be putting together a little process video from that. I hope you like this one!
