Hey lovely patrons! I know that some of you still have issues with patreon video, specifically with the video freezing and refusing to play beyond a certain point. I've been in communication with them for a while now and they are still working on trying to fix it. 

They have once again asked for specific examples, so I wanted to ask you: do you have issues playing the videos here on Patreon? If so, could you let me know which video and which issue you encountered? I will forward it to them and they will look into it and hopefully fix it! If you have this issue, feel free to let me know below or send me a DM!

Hi! I became a member just yesterday and started watching the tutorial for drawing trees linked in this month's challenge description. At some point it froze just like you said, but I saw that you can continue watching if you press the right arrow on the keyboard to forward to 10 seconds later in the video. You miss those 10 seconds, but it's better than missing the whole thing. Hope this helps!!

I only became a member a few days ago, and I have noticed those issues in the app, particularly on Android. The video freezes up but then doesn't load no matter how much I try to skip around, it won't play or buffer. Earlier today after this problem, the video then wouldn't play at all. I was just left with a black screen even after restarting the app. No issue on my PC however. This could be due to my area having infamously bad internet, but I just thought I'd toss out my experience too.

Hey Loish! I was encountering this issue when watching videos on my iPad (through Safari) but not on desktop (through Chrome). It hasn't happened in a while though

Yup! Issues while playing in chrome on macbook. I pause the video, keep the tab opened. When I come back after some times, the video can't continue.

Hey lois! I actually realised that I could not watch any of the videos beyond the 15-18 min mark (approx.) I use brave browser and i faced no problems when I switched to safari again… so maybe the browser is a factor too?

Hi Loish, I have a question, when i play your tutorials on my phone there is an option that we can choose the speed, but on my laptop there isn’t this option. I use Google Chrome, I don’t know where to find that, thanks in advance!

Mine Normally freeze in chrome browser on my iMac and MacBook pro are around 7 - 10 minutes in. That goes for every video. On my iphone on chrome on the other hand, no issues. But the screen is tiny 😅

hey! unfortunately it really depends on the patreon player, it sounds like they haven't rolled out that option for browsers. hopefully they'll implement it in the future! for now the above links to the vimeo files are the best way to watch the videos at different speeds.

I've been mostly watching the older ones on Vimeo so I'm sorry I can't be helpful!

My only issue is the video quality, sometimes your sketches are not visible due to low resolution. But besides that, I can watch them just fine! Hope you can solve the issues without too much trouble btw
