It’s time for this month’s tutorial! Some of you requested a tutorial on perspective. I am not experienced enough to give tips on two-point perspective or other types that are used for buildings or cityscapes, but I can talk about creating some perspective and depth in character art. I do that by creating overlapping shapes and using some construction tricks to create foreshortening! This tutorial runs you through how I build up shapes to create depth, and how I approach lighting & rendering to push them when I finalize my sketch.
