As always, the outcome of this month's challenge comes with a resource that explains my process for creating the autumn-themed studies I posted yesterday! In this video, I talk about the importance of balancing cool and warm colors, how to integrate a character or figure into a setting, and the importance of creating some texture and randomness in your nature-themed art. I hope you like it!

Also, I’m doing a Q&A session later today just for flame patrons! It’ll be at 4pm CET (use this link to convert to your local timezone) and I will share the stream link right before it starts. I’ll also be recording it for later viewing, so don’t worry if you can’t make it - you can still watch it later!

Have a great weekend everyone ❤

It doesn't matter too much, but just so you know, the title of this post is last month's challenge! Can't wait to watch this, hopefully it spurs me to finish my studies 😅

Hello everyone! Loish, I am impressed with your drawing technique. The play of colors between the balance of yellow and blue in the illustration is stunning. I thought you had already shared all your techniques but you have more than one trick up your sleeve! While trying to do this challenge, I got lost in the details and I got stuck and finally I didn't complete it. But your video gives excellent solutions! Thank you 😊 Can't wait for the next challenge!

i'm so glad you found it helpful! and if you ever wanna take another crack at the challenge and post it later on, that's ok too - the threads are still open to post in!
