Some studies of one of my favorite singers, FKA Twigs! I’ve been watching a lot of her music videos lately and I love her aesthetic and unique style. So I had to make some fan art sketches!

I streamed the process of these in the discord group. I really recommend joining it and participating in sharing your art there if you haven't already! It’s a really good vibe and I’ve been enjoying it a lot ❤

Amazing, unfortunately I didn’t receive notification about the stream l knew from instagram and I didn’t know how to join or where is the link 😞😞

Hello Loish! I saw the history in Instagram, but I was working and I couldn't see it in that moment. Are you going to submit the streaming in Patreon later? As a speedprocess or something, for the people that wasn't available to see it (but that are allowed)

You can find the link to the discord in her previous post! The one about both the new patreon tier and discord being live specifically

Wow the likeness is so stellar !!! 🤩 Love this Loish !! ☺️🌸

Nahla

I’m on discord but I don’t know where to enter the stream next time and how I get notified from discord

I CAME HERE TO ASK IF IT WAS TWIIIGS YASSSS

Anonymous

When the stream begins you won't be notified directly. It's basically an open group call in the server that you can hop into. Idk either how to find out about it for next time, I'll 'ust try to be observant.

Love it.

Nahla

Thank you so much❤️❤️❤️,I hope find it next time

it looks so much like her I love the rendering I'm just sad I miss the process, will you be doing more of these streams from time to time?

A

She’s awesome, and the art is just as awesome

Is the nose bridge piercing a thing? It looks like you could mount a glass frame without the arms (which would be awesome). Also, even in this stage the hair has great volume and style. These pieces are coming together well.

Loish

hey kabesh! I will definitely be dipping into the stream from time to time, so be sure to join the discord so you get notifications when I'm about to stream! I'll aslo continue to record my drawing process in various ways and share that here on patreon as well.

Loish

hey alicia! yes I recorded the process of this one with my phone and I will be posting that process here on patreon in the coming month or so!

Loish

hey nahla! did you link your discord and patreon accounts? if so, you can join the discord and get a notification there when I'm about to start streaming!

Anonymous

thanks Loish! why in the next month? I ask it, because I don't know if it's because your work timeline or because a tier detail I didn't notice

Nahla

I’ll try to reconnect it,Thanks a million for your concern ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Loish

i think it is possible but it would have to be a bit higher to get the skin? i have the feeling fka twig's "piercing" is more like an accessory that can be pinched into place, but i'm not sure!

thanks, I missed it because of school, but it will be cool to watch it after in case I miss it again.

i always find it so interesting and beautiful how the eyes develop in the process of taking your sketches into rendering. i just think it’s neat to see how simple they start, and then how much you polish them up and bring such life and detail to them

Loish

thanks! i do tend to delay a lot of the defining details that create likeness to the last phase of the sketch.

cloudie s

It is a thing, I know/follow a couple of people with them!

I really love to study your ways of coloring, it helps me a lot!! And I was wondering if you could explain why you often add a more muted light tone (often with a green or blue hue) to mostly the side of the face that you've actually put shadows on? Hopefully I explained this well enough haha~ I'm just really curious

Loish

hey! do you mean the more desaturated tones that i 'fill' the shadows with? it's to bring a little more 3-dimensionality to the shadows and break up any flat areas of color :) does that answer your question?
