Hey patrons! I’ve been posting content on here for almost a year now, and as a result it’s getting harder to navigate through all of the posts. To make it easier, here’s a pinned post to help you find the most important content - both for new patrons and also those of you who have been around for a while and want to revisit some of the older resources!

// SUBTITLED VIDEOS //

Unfortunately, Patreon’s video tool does not support subtitles at the moment. New videos are posted with the subtitles baked in to the video file. To view older videos with subtitles, check out these posts:

// DISCORD SERVER RESOURCES //

Hi Loish! There's one thing that I'm having challenges with right now in my artistic journey and that is: telling captivating stories with my art. Right now I'm just doing straight on stylized portraits and I'm getting bored 😂 Is this something that you've covered before? Would love to learn from you 😊 thanks!

Loish

I do have a tutorial about the creative spark, which is about using moments of inspiration to create paintings and ideas for future works! you can find it here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/tutorial-using-65162895

Awesome! Thank you so much for taking the time to respond. You're the best!

Anonymous

Yes... I need to find a way to tell stories... as in , doing a comic

TsukiHuli

Loish

hey gavene! I definitely recommend starting out with this tutorial which is about how you can figure out which resources are most helpful to you at this time in your artistic journey: https://www.patreon.com/posts/tutorial-roadmap-78404376

Hi Loish! Im thrilled to be able to subscribe to the Flame tier! Quick question, do you have a place where your brushes can be found if i were to want to purchase them? I saw a few of the ones you posted in one of your tutorials but i was wondering if you had maybe a list of what you use often? Thank you and thank you SO much for the wonderful tutorials and the beautiful pieces you share with all of us!

Loish

thanks so much for signing up natalie! I'm so glad you're enjoying the tutorials!! my personal brush set is free, but you can find an overview of all the brushes I use and where to buy them here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/step-by-step-i-34615265

Hi Lois! I love your figure and expression focused tutorials. I find it helpful when you share your conceptual ideas about what makes a good design. I would really enjoy a series of tutorials that go super in-depth into these concepts (rhythm, energy, intentional detail, overlapping shapes, colour harmony, shape language, etc) with visual examples. I am seeing a huge improvement in my drawings simply by keeping these concepts in the front of my mind. I still feel like I can get better, and I just want to understand more about your decision making process throughout a drawing. To me, your work appears very resolved because of your strong hold on these key concepts. And I just want even more insight into your brain =D

Loish

Those are great ideas for future tutorials! I will add them to the list and try to put them together at some point in the future.

I'm also a new patron and I must say...I'm impressed! I have seen few artists/masters do the organization you do with your work and community. Every little bit of info is organized and explained. Thank you for all this!

I learned about your "interesting and flowy shape" tutorial from a love life drawing video and it's ridiculously valuable. I see a lot of others that I can't wait to get to as well.

This post is a lifesaver, especially the links to Vimeo. For some reason, I can't watch a whole video on Patreon because it keeps showing me that the file got corrupted when it isn't really. Thank you <3

Loish

that's so frustrating, I'm sorry to hear that! I'm glad the vimeo links work for you :)

I love your work and I´m excited that now I can support it at least for 1 month, I look forward to supporting you monthly when I can afford it. Thanks for all you do, you´re a great artist and a huge inspiration. ❤❤

Anonymous

thank you for this! I'm still getting used to using Patreon and this helps with finding your stuff!

Loish

glad it helps! feel free to reach out through DM if you have trouble finding anything!

Hello Loish. Hope that you are doing well and having a great day. I would like to update my patron and was wondering when is it better in the month to do it so ad not to be charged twice? Thank you 😊🙏

Loish

hey kat! the best way to do it is just wait until the 2nd of the month, because if you get charged on the 1st it can sometimes charge twice in a day. you could also upgrade now, but if you'd prefer to do next month i'd wait until the 2nd! but just fyi, if you get double charged i can always refund you so just reach out if that ever happens.

Dear loish, Hello and good day thank you kindly for your reply! i would love to be part of this month's challenge so i will try to do it today :) thank you very much for your help :)
