EARLY ACCESS // head in the sky (Patreon)

Here’s a piece I just finished, that I’ve been working on since July. It went through a bunch of different phases and ended up changing the style and colors a few times. I was really struggling with it until I changed the direction of her face and suddenly the image just ‘clicked’ for me! I’ve been flying a lot to travel for workshops, and this image started out on one of those flights while doodling on my iPad. I just love staring out the window and looking at the sky and clouds passing by. It puts me in a melancholy and reflective mood. Any ideas on what I should call it?
