Hey folks and welcome to a quick roadmap breakdown, updated on the 1st of September, 2022!

Many exciting projects on the horizon, and many projects you've all been waiting for are almost here. Let's take a look what we have achieved so far:


Vanilla Skills Expanded by Legodude17th, first of his name, has been released. This mod allows your colonists to gain expertise in what they do best, allowing them to be even better! This mod also adds 3 new passions to play around with!

Vanilla Lore Expanded, the book on which we have spent over a year of work, has been released. You can get it by becoming a $5 Patron!

And now, what we've been working on:

Vanilla Animals Expanded - Royal Animals has entered beta testing and should be ready for release very soon. We have already broken down the mod on our Patreon so you can find out what cool new animals the Empire will get, and how they will work!

Vanilla Vehicles Expanded is almost ready to enter beta testing. After testing concludes, it will of course release. It will feature many industrial era vehicles for you to play with - and you can customize their paint jobs too!

Vanilla Backstories Expanded is complete and almost ready to enter testing too, we just need to add a few bits of code to our Framework. Once that's done, it will be good to go! It features many, many new backstories and should breathe more life to your 4k hours playtime!

Vanilla Nutrient Paste Expanded is slowly approaching completion. Kikohi is going through his finals at Uni so work has been slower, which is fine. This mod will allow you to generate nutrient paste and store it in huge vats, and use special pipes to transport it around your base - from vats to prisons, bedrooms, hospitals, stables and barns and dining rooms!

Vanilla Temperature Expanded work has not yet started fully. This mod will feature a centralized climate control unit as a late game research project. You will be able to equalize temperature across various rooms through air conduits that use our pipe network code.

Vanilla Factions Expanded - Ultratech work is ongoing and it's going quite fast. A large chunk of the mod is already done, and it's absolutely amazing. We have smart guns that never miss, their projectiles curve around walls and stuff. We have target painters that highlight enemies for easier killin'. We have androids. We have Altered Carbon stacks and sleeves (as Helixien, author of Ultratech mod, is working with us on this project). We have an ultratech megabase for you to raid. We have greedy tourists. We have it all!

Vanilla Factions Expanded - Empire is a new addition to this roadmap - it's a mod I am enganging the community for. Patrons have been voting on what notions to add to the mod, and we are working hard on creating a whole faction mod out of them - this time expanding the Empire from the Royalty DLC. Expect a lot, is all I can say. New permits, new politics, new ways to engage with royals, host balls, art exhibitions, gossip, cut throats, poison, terrorize... yeah. It will be fun!
