Hello hello.


I promised I will get back to you with some more sweet news about our upcoming weapon expansions, so here it is: The non-lethal mod.

A lot of us always wanted something to use to 'calm down' berserk pawns and get rid of those pesky prison riots, but using normal guns can result in accidental deaths.

You probably also wanted to make sure to capture that one specific raider who got relations with your pawn, but always failed due to unlucky crit on your sniper rifle.

Say no more!

I love it, this is something that a lot of mods try to go for and do poorly, but you will ensure that we get something that actually works well. My only question is why no beanbag shotgun?

The thing that makes this balanced is the fact that the cooldown is too long, correct?

Cool down is one thing - another is that none of these weapons except dart gun (which is dreadful accuracy wise) actually drop enemies unconscious. Rubber bullet pistol, stun baton, all use blunt damage to take down enemies, meaning you still have to beat the crap out of your enemy.

I think it would be awesome to have a slave faction that specifically used mostly these non lethal weapons and their whole goal being to kidnap a couple your pawns. Maybe you could pay a ransom to get them back for a price or raid their base to get your colonists back!

God, thats grear, I had problem with non-lethal weapons mods (and the beutyfull killing of that one raider I wanted alive). Like aways, a master work

Sweet! I was fearing raids would become very frustrating xD
