Hello everyone!

I understand that times are hard recently, with Corona Virus killing most of the jobs (surely killed my one), and it is completely understandable that belts need to be tightened.

Don't be afraid if you have to drop your tier, as the money can be better spent elsewhere, as it is understandable, however rest assured that your support means a lot to me in these difficult times.

To give you a little taste of how I am going to improve your RimWorld experience in the coming weeks, I have decided to make this month's roadmap available for everyone, for free.

Thank you all very, very much for all the help you've given me. I hope this whole situation will blow over soon and we will live happily ever after, cranking out a mod after mod every day.

Let me know what you're looking forward the most!

Can't wait to try out the Props and Decorations mod!

How much does it cost to commission a mod?

Its the highest tier for 10 hours of dev time. You're really spoiling us with shiny new things to play with the coming month

Definitely Cooking and Plants Expanded. Will you ensure that it makes sense to grow different kinds of crops and keep different kinds of meat? I like the approach "Smarter Vanilla Food" (by TheGoofyOne) takes, but it has its own compatibility drawbacks, since it redefines existing meals and recategorizes food. Well, you're probably going to do the same, but at least with compatibility to other mods in mind. I'm really eager to mods making use of the crops and meat variety Vanilla RimWorld already provides.

Love it all! Thank you for your awesome work!

I will continue to support you, for upcoming, and past awesome content. In fact, i created an account here on Patreon just to support you. Regarding the 10 hours for uranium tier supporter, can you give a rough comparison what/how much mod can be done in that time? Ie, fishing mod took 10 hours or other existing mods of yours. Since I am no modder, I can´t estimate it, others might be interested to know this as well :)

For Uranium, you get 10 hours of art and 10 hours of programming. Oskar is a very fast artist, especially when you are asking for something that has a photo reference for all three sides (front, back, side) if it's a pawn or moveable object. So if you want him to make more real life animals, or reference weapons and armor from a video game, he could do five of those easy (remember, animals and armor have three sprites, not one). If you want him to create something new that doesn't have a reference, he might only be able to do a couple of those in the time given because there will probably be a lot of revisions for him to get what you want. The programming is similar. If you want him to take advantage of programming that already exists, you'll get a lot more out of it. For example, I commissioned a dragon, and since he works with Sarg he was able to use Sarg's ranged animal attack framework to make it breathe fire. It was also quick to make these dragons "dig" for fish because that programming already existed for the penguins. If you want to invent a new mechanic that vanilla expanded or rim world classic doesn't use, that alone could easily take up the entire programming time.

Would you consider adding a tech limitation option with Diego Dire similar to the what is done by Maynard Medieval, but limiting late industrial and higher tech and factions? There was a mod in 1.0 to do this (called "Western Tech"), but it has not been updated for 1.1.

Such a thing is sadly impossible to do. Whilst the game recognises 5 technological tiers - Neolithic, medieval, industrial, spacer and ultra, it doesn’t differentiate between early industrial and late industrial. The way our settlers spawn with our weapons and not assault rifles is because I specifically told them to spawn with our weapons. That however means that they will not spawn with any other modded weapons unless I tell them to. This leads to a conclusion that we can split early industrial and late industrial.
